Silk Dining 御皇宴
This restaurant is good for food.The organisation is terrible and the length of time to get dishes is quite simply to long. We were a table with 4 kids, every dish the kids ordered didn’t come - it came as we were finished and leaving. Ice cream took 45 mins.If they could serve quicker this would be a different experience but you cannot eat here it’s just to stressful.

The restaurant recently changed their name and menu (and probably management / ownership) so we tried a quick lunch there recently. We ordered their specialty braised ox-tails with red-wine sauce and stir-fried mix veggies with garlic. Surprisingly and as improvement to its prior offering, both dishes are good, especially the ox-tails with fusion red-wine sauce which is closer to European style with a Chinese twist by adding shallots and garlic into the sauce. Service and ambience are reasonable for casual restaurant in a shopping mall and you can pay by credit card (no AMEX) with 1.2% surcharge.I visited the restaurant again for 2nd time and this time to try their lunchtime dim-sum delicacy choices like their panda custard buns, prawn rolls, BBQ pork and chicken feet. Like our previous order / visit, they're all quite good dishes for a suburban casual restaurant but priced quite premium so not too good of value for money. However, the Chinese tea provided is good quality and the service from floor staff is still good.

We are locals who have tried our best to support this business.Consistently, they deliver an absolutely terrible experience to the customer.- 2 hour service with rude comments when asked about progress of food- frozen alternatives when busy and food that is inedible 3 in 4 visits- rude service- management don’t care in any way when given the above feedbackI’ve said 10 times we’ll never go back and yet we keep trying to support.No more. Your attitude towards customers is disgusting and you make short cuts on the food wherever you can.NEVER AGAIN.

Went for dinner on Saturday night. Have been several times in the past and has been good but tonight the service was beyond poor over 1 hour wait for food that never arrived, yet other tables had food continuously being delivered. The 2 tables beside us had the same issues. Will not be going back!

Quite pricy place. Ordered a few common Chinese dishes like sweet sour pork, peking duck, pipi vermicelli, salt pepper squid. Everything was actually decent except for the peking duck. The portions were WAY off what you would expect. As a chinese person myself, half a duck is definitely more than what is shown in the picture and peking duck should be thinly sliced to be wrapped in the wrapping.Fortunately, other dishes were not bad. Food was quite fresh and I quite enjoyed the pipi with vermicelli fried base. Hope to try the dimsum for lunch here in the future. Staff were friendly and spoke English, Mandarin & Cantonese.Other reviews were correct, the waiting times for the dishes did take quite a while. So don't expect a quick meal.

Slow service, no one cared about giving us a menu. The food was bland, I ordered the special seafood fried rice for dinner, it came with vegetables out of a frozen pack, the cheap peas and carrot mix not any other veggies or fresh ones with some chopped tiny prawns out of a frozen pack too. The lunch specials at any other Asian restaurant would provide better quality. My friend ordered satay beef with noodles, it was also bland without veggies at all. Never going there again.

Brilliant, delightful and authentic Chinese. Service is prompt and vigorous. Has a great suburban vibe Fri/Sat with a real buzz that quickly becomes more peaceful after around 7.45pm. Overall it's great fun and you should go now. Do it now!

There are three main problems within this restaurant:1. The service was extremely slow. If you had one hour and was just sitting there, would you be happy if the restaurant only served one dish. Well, we actually finished dinner within one hour while only one dish was served in the entire hour here.2. The price tags… This is a very expensive restaurant and we noticed this a little late. The XO Pipies with vermicelli were $90!3. Service was poor. Like the waiters would comment rude things when we wanted them to serve food faster.In conclusion, this restaurant is probably those places where I won’t be going again. NEVER.
