Portarlington Beach Motel

We had such a lovely stay, we extended it! Peter keeps the grounds spotless, Amanda thoroughly cleaned our room, and both were great with our kids. Phil, the owner, was kind and helped me get the right help when my car had car troubles. Our kids loved the pool and BBQ area. We will be back - Thanks!

It's not new or fancy but was comfortable and friendly.Apart from the insects in our room (specificaly the very large spider and cockroach), we were otherwise happy with it. The pool was cold and small but satisfactory and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Separate bathroom but all other facilities and beds shared the single main room (kitchen plus 1 queen and 2 singles).

Everytime I’ve come to stay here for a getaway with family, it’s always an amazing trip. The cleanliness of the place is always spot on! The staff is so kind, the rooms are comfortable to be in and the pool area is always nice and tidy. Will definitely keep coming back here in the future!

Wow wow wow do not stay anywhere else in Portarlington, top class room, excelents hosts in Phil and Helen who went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable, even after we had checked out, cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough and will be back again and again and again, get there by the ferry and stay overnight for an amazing weekend away

Never in all my life have I come across an organisation that puts profits over people like Portarlington Beach Motel. Operational management should be ashamed of themselves. Our family has suffered several medical emergencies over the past few months and the most recent was this morning (25 th January) when a member of our family was rushed to hospital.We have been forced to cancel our long overdue holiday, and we’ll needed break to provide 24 hour care for an ill family member.We advised Portarlington Beach Motel of our situation, we were happy to provide evidence of the above in the hope that they would not charge us the 50% non refundable for cancellations made after the cut off date in the terms and conditions (2300 hrs 24th January)We were given two optionsPay the cancellation fee or provide an alternative date by tomorrow on Australia Day.I was not happy and asked to speak the manager.This request was refused.Micki stated “We are here to run a business.”The original owners would not have treated us like this knowing full well that accommodation during the Australia Day holidays are a premium, and the cancellation would be rented immediately.Portarlington Beach Motel I hope you are happy with yourself. Stayed in the family room. Immaculately clean, comfortable beds, great water pressure in the shower. But most of all - the best customer service & hospitality ever. If you're looking for a clean, relaxed, friendly place, I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back.
