The Surf Yamba

Pure Luxe meets perfection in every way. From the moment you arrive the attention to detail is obvious and very much appreciated. Gary is a warm and welcoming host. The rooms are meticulously clean and well thought out in design. Relaxation is a given on the roof top, while enjoying the spectacular views. P.S patchouli, sandalwood and mint is my new favourite combo!We look forward to staying at The Surf Yamba again.

The location was beautiful and the rooms were decorated in a simple but stylish manner. Our host Garry was very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was stunning. We came to Yamba for 2 days and stayed for 8 as we loved The Surf so much

This hotel was absolutely perfect for my partners small and intimate 50th birthday celebration. Garry was super helpful at all times and we thoroughly enjoyed the amazingly beautiful rooftop area. The rooftop has 360 views with crisp white decor in a yacht rock style. The space truly transports you to another world, and really makes the hotel something special.

Fantastic little gem right by the beach. Attention to detail and little extras made it the perfect place to stay. A lovely, quiet place with only a few rooms making it a peaceful retreat. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at The Surf over the New Years weekend. Garry and the team have created a wonderful atmosphere right in the heart of Yamba. Our room was beautifully appointed, and the common areas on Level 3 were perfect for relaxing.

Fantastic accommodation spot in a perfect location. My wife and I stayed with two young kids who absolutely loved the hotel and roof top pool. The rooms are spacious with brilliant views. Gary and the team went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend and will certainly be back.

We just had the best stay at The Surf! The rooms are beautiful, king beds super comfy, incredible view from our balcony overlooking the beach and lighthouse, bathtub was luxurious with a bath bomb included (lovely!). The complimentary mini bar was a lovely addition, as were the in room Nespresso coffee.The Rooftop also has the most amazing view over the sea spanning from the lighthouse to past convent beach. Lovely spot to sit and have an afternoon coffee or watch the sunset with a spritz! The pool also has an amazing view, and is heated. The beach chairs and umbrellas were great. Main beach is literally right across the road, we could hear the waves at night. Cafes and restaurants walking distance also.Recommend not coming from Sunday-Wednesday if you want to eat out as most things in Yamba and surrounding towns like Angourie are closed! The kiosk at the beach is meant to be great but also isn’t open until Friday. Regardless, we had the most amazing time and enjoyed the pub, fish and chips and local cafes.Thank you to the hotel staff and Garry for making it such a fabulous stay.Bella and Abbie :)

My husband and I absolutely loved The Surf. The whole place is beautifully designed with wonderful and well thought trough little touches that make you smile. We loved our room, enjoyed the pool and spent our evenings looking up at the stars from the rooftop lounge after dinner at a local restaurant. Location is great and the views are fantastic. We'll definitely be going back.

Fabulous. Best hotel in Yamba. Ignore the 2 star review from Rod - he’s a bellend.Garry has thought of everything, such a beautiful place to stay - rooms fully equipped with all you need and fantastic terraces to while away an afternoon. Everything has been finished to such a high standard it was such a pleasure to stay at The Surf.

A Designers Haven!Best location, wonderful hospitality, you could not get anything better with this incredible hotel. You have everything you need right at your fingertips! Beautiful beaches, cafes, restaurants all in close walking distance. But don’t forget about the pool! With views of the NSW coastline what more could you want!. Lovely stay, HIGHLY recommend if you’re visiting Yamba, we will definitely be back! :)
