Not a huge fan of the new atmosphere in the rear courtyard, a bit mperaonal. The inside was nice. Won't be back anytime soon as can no longer have pets in the courtyard. The tables out front are so uncomfortable as they are on a lean. Food was nice.

This is a nice place to go to for a coffee away from the suburban cafe's. It has character and a charm to it. I enjoyed visiting here for a coffee. They do have other items, I just had the coffee

Staff are friendly, helpful and well trained. The food is amazing, we ordered the chicken burger and oldschool cheeseburger. Both came out looking like a mid tier burger. But let me say they were probably one of the best burgers I've eaten. Products are fresh and good quality & most importantly tasted delicious! Will definitely be back with friends

We have had great food and service here but over the last 2 years it has really deteriorated. The dinner last week was really below standard and service was non existent, sadly we wont be going back.

Awesome atmosphere and setting. Coffee could be better, ordered a long black with a little bit of ice and it came out lukewarm. Not enough to be iced, but too much ice to be a hot long black. Building 4/5, setting and atmosphere 5/5 coffee 2/5.

We had lunch on a Saturday. The staff were friendly and efficient. There are very pleasant Indoor & Outdoor seating areas.Sitting in the outdoor area felt a bit like enjoying the view from one's deck at home in the afternoon, but with a delicious lunch served to us. I will admit that I was so relaxed that I forgot to photograph this area.I ordered Mushroom & Avocado flat grill - is cooked on a very thin flat bread, so you have a lovely crunchy pocket" of goodness with a fresh tasty side salad.One of my friends enjoyed their Brunch Bowl

With friends visiting we decided to take them to the Brookie for breakfast, extremely disappointed to say the least. We arrived at 10.20am and people were eating their breakfasts and by the looks of it they were not even half way through their meal.We sit down, all six of us, get the menus then we are told 'sorry The Kitchen is closed!!! At 10.30am on a saturday morning! Seriously who closes the kitchen at 10.30am on a saturday on a long weekend. They had just served people their meals? Obviously the new owners are making lots of money and dont want to cater for a local. So we spent our $200 eleswhere. The sevice from the staff was ..oh sorry..... the lack of service from the staff didnt impress and communication from staff...humm maybe some training is needed. Bring back the old Brookie.

Great place to have a coffee and delicious brunch. As a dog lover I am more than happy to tie the dog in the area provided. This makes it safer and more pleasant dining for those in the lovely back seated area. Well done Brookfield General Store, what a pleasant experience.

Nice place for a morning coffee and morning tea. Some nice gift options and seating on the verandah was comfortable enough. Pet friendly.
