Great little cafe, nice old building restored very well. Very cosy place to have a tea, coffee and something to eat. Reasonable and comparable prices to other cafe’s in the area.

Hotel review only: Wonderful place to rest for the night halfway between the east coast and Adelaide. Everything was provided for the whole family (yes actually a towel and soap and water for each person staying! Amazing I know), comfortable room and beds, nice shower, quiet and beautiful location. Thank you!

Staff didn’t seem happy to be working and order we mixed up despite us being the only people there when ordered. Place a grand old building but needs some external maintenance and repairs.Limited menu due to supply issues and pancakes were enjoyed.Hot chocolate seemed to be made with half milk half water.

Really disappointing b&e roll for $13!Maybe the server was shy, but gave off a strong impression she didnt want to be there.2 stars for the great coffee frappe.

Not really worth a visit tbh. Nice building in need of some tlc. Waitress was disinterested and took our order to the wrong table - even tho we had numbers and it was not busy. Coffee was pretty bad. Eggs needed seasoning but bacon was nice. Order took ages. I’m guessing they are short staffed as tables were left uncleared for ages. They need to get their act together.

Stayed one night on a trip between Sydney and Adelaide. Been restored and with the high ceilings didn't need to use the AC at night. Had breakfast in the Cafe in the same building. Pool was perfect for a late afternoon swim. Don't for get to head 16k north of Hay to watch the sunset and take your camera. Fantastic half way point on our trip

Went in to only order a few hot drinks, shame the reception was so cold today. We seemed to be an inconvenience to the girls working- although we were the only ones in there at the time. There was still 40 minutes until kitchen closed. Coffee had a very weak taste. Perhaps better to go here weekdays and Saturdays.
