My favourite swim hole since I was a kid living in Cairns. I visit every time I go north its fresh clear water great for swimming and there's rapids and deep hole fishing.

Beautiful Riverside area to chill out, picnic & have a cautious swim (have someone watch you and stay shallow - there's crocodiles in there)

Gorgeous area, definitely worth a look and walk around. We brought our dog who loved it. As always, beware of crocs and currents.

No toilets, no BBQ, roads tracks, more for 4WD. Swimming. Need shoes. Good for parties and bush bashing. Wild life is there, beware.

Great spot to stop and stretch the legs. Lots of rocks and pot holes so not ideal for all cars.

I urge everyone to visit this place, has got to be one of my favourite spots in Cairns. 4x4 wheel drive access and normal cars will be able to drive there to an extent. Still a great place to swim with the family. This place is not maintained by the Cairns Council and we are all expected to play our part to keep this place nice and clean.Unfortunately sometimes you may see some burnt cars dumped down there by idiots.Remember this is Far North Queensland and always be mindful of crocodiles.I highly recommend swimming only where the creek runs not near the railway line.

Great place to camp and is pet friendly. Alot of people also motorbike ride and 4 wheel drive around this area too. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and is a great place to have fun.

Love this place to come for a afternoon swim or bring the dogs down for a run. Perfect place to do many things can chuck a fishing line in or go for a 4WD
