Great community housing modern apartment. Staff are very helpful to tenant inquiries without notice or bookings. Repair jobs have been attended in a timely manner through SGCH website.Mail boxes have been installed, free bike storage, two amazing common areas which I hope will be accessible soon, unwanted bulk items room by rubbish rooms & right opposite to upgraded access to Redfern station expected to be completed this year.Downside is no complex parking and lifts get broken down sometimes. Otherwise, for what it’s worth we’re very lucky to be here and are immensely thankful. Housing wait time in this area for 2 bedroom is 10+ years!

SGCH offers reduced rent for low income earners but their usefulness as an organisation ends there. They manage and run this building and do a terrible job at it. When I first moved in the people at the office attached to this building were timely in their responses to email and on top of delivering mail to residents. However three months in that has all gone down the drainThere are no mail boxes for residents so their system is to collect small mail at the office and then notify residents that they have mail waiting for them via text. But they stopped notifying residents for some reason and then get annoyed when I have to check every day at the office when I’m expecting mail.Additionally, I never receive responses to my emails to their office. I generally avoid having to organise a meeting with someone in the office as they often act unfriendly and disinterested in whatever I have to ask about.The building itself is newly built and has two common areas for kids and on the roof. But the people who manage this building make it almost not worth it to live here.

Im waiting for a refund of one month and two weeks they took by mistake its going on three weeks now . If i was behind this much they would have evicted me by now . Trying to get money they owe you is a different story terrible service

I went into this so called social housing scam after being recommended by other social housing providers and they gave me the old “Bum’s Rush” that’s code for you’re not welcome here nor will any time or services be offered, do not come here again. I would love to read their corporate values and Mission Statement probably not worth any more than the phoney paper it’s printed. I have never dealt with this dodgy business called social housing before and I guess I will not be on their Christmas email list either
