Sapphire Nails & Waxing

Loved getting my nails done today (6th April) by Mai (not sure if this is correct spelling) so friendly and professional. She really cares about the clients and takes pride in her work. Thank you Mai!

The lady was on the phone the whole time, she even cut my finger while doing my nails, I told her and she said oh sorry about that". Then I asked for a foot spa as well so she started that even though my nail were not done. the water was cold. The whole experience was awful and will not be returning. I asked for extra glitter on my nails but he said no! so rude :("

I went in for a pedicure and explained that I needed to fix a broken toe nail with acrylic and the two ladies said no problem.. I also told them I didn't want them filed too short .. 5 mins in after the polish was removed, the lady starts filing my nails roundish and went so short that I had to tell her she was physically hurting me because she was filing my skin. I was so disappointed and told her I didn't want them short or round so the other lady says don't worry, I will fix it with acrylic. Then I realised none of the toe nails were the same shape or size and therefore I asked her to stop..Then both the ladies start talking in their language, and it was very obvious that they were talking about me! Again she says don't worry I FIX IT! All this time the lady who is filing just stares at me as if she doesn't understand what I am saying so I asked her if she understands English and the other lady replies for her, don't worry I fix it later!At this moment I get a call, so I pick it and as I am talking the other lady brings the eftpos machine to me and taps it to tell me to pay first..so I hang up and asked her if could she give me a minute to finish my call and she starts talking in her language about me obviously irritated..After I hang up I asked her does she do this to everyone that you have to pay even before she even started my service as its never been like that before? (this was my 3rd visit) and she says to me - YES i do that- u pay before u start so i was like ok. So when she gives me the amount , I remind her she hasn't charged me for the nail repair (acrylic) and she says no now u don't need it because it they look same and not bad after shaping them very short!!! I was speechless and asked her then why did u shape them so short then? So she says don't worry they will grow back in 2-3 weeks!!So trying to explain to her that I told and explained to her several times, all I wanted was a nail repair and normal pedicure and she says ok I give u $5 discount because she filed it too short!! I said that's not what I wanted and she says ok so now should she paint my toes or leave it??!!I couldn't believe what she had just said to me!! I said I think I don't want any more damage done, and the lady has the audacity to tell me its ok- U can go to Noranda ( I had mentioned to her while casually chatting where I went before etc!!) I was Speechless!!I then asked her to give me the number of her boss who I must say had been really lovely and gave us really good service the previous 2 times and he had asked us to support him so that's what i was doing.. So initially she says he's very busy and I said that's fine I will pass by later and make sure I tell him about my experience so she reluctantly calls him and she tells him her side of the story and after I tell the guy what really happened, he apologised and asked to speak to her. Meanwhile the other lady is trying to calm me down and gets me tissues and says I don't have to pay for anything today, as she had messed it up.. And as i was leaving the lady comes out and yells at me saying My boss very angry with me and because of you i will probably lose my Job! I was speechless and told them thank you but this was the last time that I will ever come here as i was really upset!

I had a lovely experience at Sapphire nails with Lisa, she was very professional and warm and friendly. She did an amazing job with the pedicure and I had a relaxing time..will be back again!

Lovely experience, staff really friendly and welcoming, shop extremely clean. Overall, a great job. Will be back for sure!
