Determined to attend the Tuesday Curry night, the locals had raved about it.Firstly, the staff were beautiful, 5 star service. The curry was a big disappointment to me.Because the food is put out at 5pm in Bain Marie’s, it was tepid and not as enjoyable as it should have been.Lamb vindaloo, I salivated, so disappointed, no curry heat at all.Met friends at the airport who felt the same way, I suggested to them that it would be great if you could ask for part of the curry to be spiced up in the kitchen upon request, solves all problems. Plus I wouldn’t feel so disappointed about my dining experience.I hope you consider my suggestion as I think it would entice more tourists to your curry night, and please get those curry’s warmed up more, very important.

Food was no good, accommodation was great. Some of the service was a bit hit and Miss. Lisa’s service was amazing.

Didn’t stay at the Motel but have eaten at the bistro twice so far. It’s a pub so it’s a pub vibe, and that’s just fine! Food comes out hot and quick, how you ordered it and delicious. Hard to get a bad steak on island but both times they’ve nailed medium rare and I’ve enjoyed it immensely!

Has all you need for a short stay, comfortableStayed her as part of a larger group and given the options at King Island for accommodation are limited this place is not too bad. If there were half stars I would give it 3.5 but it was more a 3 than a 4 for the whole star rating. The rooms whilst spacious and have basics, the twin share rooms have quite small single beds. The room has all the requirements you need, but the bathroom is quite primitive. The shower was very ordinary and not very spacious so moving around was a challenge even for a small person. The room we had was above the car park at the front and even though the hotel cannot control people as they leave bar it was a bit noisy, thankfully not too long. The food and the bar servcie was pretty good at the place, and we spent some time in the bar watching the footy which was a great wind down after the day.I would stay here again, but request a different room type and location in the hotel, rates weren't too bad for the stay.

I went there for lunch twice & the food & service were excellent. In particular, the Greek lamb chops with salad & pita bread was magnificent. If it's on the menu, I highly recommend it.

I only ate here, didn't stay. Found the food nice especially the chicken tenders and the staff were friendly. The alcohol was cheap too! We ate here a few times and it was handy it was open all day for food.

Great location for our visit, the staff in the bar and service team we're fantastic and very friendly, the meals were fantastic and if you're looking for a great meal the mixed grill and lamb loin chops were delicious, the rooms were good and comfortable.

Great food menu, local caught fish, try that local grown scotch fillet steak. Excellent atmosphere. Got to love the wood heaters and friendly staff, all happening in the centre of town.
