We just completed the Tarkine 3 day walk with LifesanAdventure. What an amazing trip. Jeff our guide was incredibly experienced and knowledgeable and all round top bloke, ably assisted by Moyara. Tarkine was incredible, 100m year old rainforest, 30,000 year old aboriginal sites. Accomodation very good at Corinna. Overall fantastic experience and would definitely walk with this firm again.

I booked a 3 day/2 night walking tour in Blue Mts and paid the full amount of $1099 in July 2021. The walk was booked for March 2022. It was cancelled x2 by the company (Covid and landslide risk). No refund was allowed but I was told I could take the walk at a future date or have a credit. I kept the walk. I now wish to do that same walk in Feb 2023 (less than a year later). I spoke at length on the phone to the reservations team, eventually getting on to a manager" and was told there would be an increase in cost of (what amounted to be) $388

We did the Light to Light walk with Life's an Adventure in April 2022 and it was a complete disaster. My 85 year old father had some medical issues and they initially refused to change our booking in any way (despite there being numerous other walks throughout the year). After a protracted argument they finally agreed with our requests. When we actually did the walk the track was completely flooded with torrential rain all day. Day 1 included a dangerous creek crossing and appalling conditions. The walk which was supposed to take 4.5 hours took 9.5 hours. The guide was contracted from another company. All members of the group and the guide agreed that the walk should have been cancelled with the forecast weather. The next 2 days of the walk and the boat trip were cancelled as all the access roads were closed. The response from the company? Not a single word. No refund, no offer of a discount on a future walk. No communication whatsoever. Avoid this company.
