The Good Grocer Shenton Park IGA

Absurdly priced. They buy some of thier icecreams for a $1 and sell it for $5, this is why everyone avoids IGAs unless coles and woolies are closed.

Where to begin with my continental roll! The staff were brilliant! Bella? Was incredibly polite and positive, she assured me that my lunch would be an experience. Needless to say it was, the ratio of bread and meat was impeccable, the olives were delightful, the cheese added that relief in between!! Will definitely be coming back!!!

Probably the nicest IGA I've been to. I was getting gluten free bread and cake from Strange Grains for my sister and quickly ducked into the IGA to get a drink. The place has a buffet and great ready meals, delicious fruits and some unique items you won't find in other major shops

The key to understanding this particular IGA is to realize that IGA is not Coles or Woollies. Coles and Woollies have contracts with suppliers and so every branch sells exactly the same thing. On the other hand, IGA are a bunch of independent retailers who group under the IGA banner which allows them to buy some goods at discount. All IGA's differ from each other (e.g. the IGA in Geraldton has a huge Asian market, the IGA in Subiaco has an abnormally large variety of food you won't find easily elsewhere), and this particular Shenton Park IGA specializes in luxury gourmet goods.In here you will find a fantastic cheese section, fresh pasta, heirloom tomatoes, sourdough bread from a variety of Perth bakers, gourmet pies, Portuguese canned sardines, Ortiz anchovies, Biltong, and a deli selling nice cakes. Of course they sell all the usual other necessities like cleaning agents, toothpaste, spices, cereal, aluminum foil, etc.There is a hot food bar that changes their selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I have never tried that food because I prefer cooking my own.It is 24 hour so if you have a hankering for some cheese at midnight you can go there.The downside is that they are a little expensive (which are what the other 1 star reviewers are unhappy about). But hey, this is Shenton Park.

Expensive, but it is a very nice iga. If you like cheese, you will love it.

It's a super fancy IGA all right. Good range of boutique stuff with prices to match. Their quick deli meals are really good (dry stuff from 6am notwithstanding) but expensive.

I wish I could take this store home... excellent store 10/10 so clean neat and tidy, staff are excellent with their customer service is second to none and such a Hugh selection of the best looking fruit n veg, highly recommend... I am a very happy customer and love coming in when I am here in Perth... wish you would bring your services to Busselton.....
