the foods were amazing! authentic Indonesian flavour, unfortunately I didn't take pictures of food, was so starving!the owner is so friendly, Worth to visit when you come to Cairns.

Quite expensive for 1 beef rib rice dish, 1 grilled chicken dish and 2 ice tea at close to AUD 60. Taste is good but we definitely have tasted cheaper and better Indonesian food outside of Indonesia. For that price, you can get better value dining in Cairns.

One of best Indonesian food I have ever tried in Australia along with the one in Broome.I normally judge by the fried rice or fried noodle.The fried noodle is amazing.The Sambal (chilly paste) is really chef’s kiss. Very authentic.The fried rice is quite good but I would rather get fried noodles as the fried rice a bit salty.The grilled chicken is nice but it is not my liking. I know so many Indonesian and Australian will like this. I am more into salty and spicy food like Padang food. Regardless, the food still nice and I have enjoyed it.The staff and owner are very friendly. The wait is also not long. Very good job.

This was one of the best meals we had during our trip to Australia. Tried the Rendang, Nasi Goreng with Crispy duck, chicken satay and onde onde. Everything was delicious. We didn’t try it until our last night but would’ve definitely come back again if we stayed longer.

Delicious vegan options here - just ask for it without egg! Definitely recommend the tofu/tempeh mi goreng or gado gado, plus onde onde!

Small joint but good food. Owner is very welcoming and friendly. You might have to wait a bit as they are under the pump due to their popularity. But the wait is worthy. I would recommend this cafe whoever wants some good Indonesian food.

The food is AMAZING! Proper, authentic Indonesian cuisine. The satay is absolutely delicious. It's so nice that I've ordered it both times we've visited! It's also the only place in Cairns we've found that serves iced Milo, which is a big bonus for us! They serve generous portions & it's well worth the money. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and it has a really great, chilled out vibe there. I would definitely recommend visiting Bagus.
