North Lakes Hotel

My partner is in a wheelchair as a quadriplegic and from the moment we got there Stuart on the front desk went above and beyond to make sure the room we got was suitable. The room it's self was clean spacious with a great wheelchair accessible bathroom. The bed was really comfortable & I would definitely stay here again

Great rooms, interconnected rooms, heaps of parking. The restaurant that is in the hotel is nice overlooking the lake.North Lakes shopping centre is a short walk for great value dining out. Close enough to Brisbane for day trips without worrying about the hustle and bustle. Definitely staying there more often now we've been there.

Cannot recommend venue enough for function. We were looking for a family friendly venue for a celebration and we found it! Likewise could meet formal function as well. Easy to organise. Well priced. Everything met or exceeded expectation. Would definitely use again. We also stayed the night and the rooms were clean fresh modern and functional. For reference we hired the King Island Room as per pic. Thanks to Steph and her team for assisting us with smiles the whole time. A+

I was there for dinner ordered salmon and pasta took over 50 minutes for the meals to arrive.Both males very cold.Salmon overcooked rockhard.Customer service not that bad.The service 1 out of 10, I guess when you get served by young teenagers that’s what to expect no a better service.I would I prefer someone with highly experience in hospitality to work in such a hotel, not a teenager with lack of customer service.I would never order any food ever again.The view is great, very relaxing atmosphere.Cocktails are disgusting.Next time I probably will order a bottle of wine. That’s all they are worth for.But I definitely will have a KFC for dinner before I go and have a glass of wine at this hotel.Otherwise very clean hotel.

Accommodation was fine - spacious rooms and pleasant surroundings. Reasonably priced wine at outside cafe overlooking Lake Eden.Unfortunately badly let down by the restaurant. We recommend you do not eat there - there are serious problems in the kitchen.Wait staff blamed poor communication between the chefs, but if there were more than one chef, both or all should be ashamed. The most popular dish (pepperoni pizza) was not available because there was no pepperoni. Someone could have grabbed some petty cash and driven to Woolworths and that would have been resolved (there were less than 6 tables occupied - hardly flat out). I ordered lasagne instead, but it did not arrive with my wife's crumbed chicken with mashed potato. The chicken was passable, but it was not on mash as she specifically wanted (and was the only option on the menu). The bed turned out instead to be cold couscous. When she complained, she was told that it would take 20 minutes to cook another dish. My lasagne had still not arrived. When we asked, we were told it was being heated and would be out in minutes. When it finally arrived, no warmth could be detected from the plate and the dish looked awful. We rejected it and the staff did not argue when we said we would not pay - but trying to arrange a refund turned into another saga. Eventually we were given cash and repaired to our room to munch on a packet of biscuits. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - DO NOT EAT THERE!

Set on the edge of Lake Eden in the North Lakes, the Hotel has impressive views over the lake and makes the most of its beautiful setting. You can dine on the deck overlooking the lake, or take a walk around the perimeter of the lake itself and spot plenty of wildlife (swans, turtles, birds etc). Unfortunately, the week prior to my arrival the Hotel had been on the receiving end of a deluge and destructive winds, which had put the lifts out of action and meant everyone had to use the fire escape to access their rooms. Whilst not the Hotel's fault, it clearly had some knock on effects on their ability to provide the level of service they would have liked.

June 2023 i was at the hotel for a function at the north lakes hotel with family and friends. Service was Amazing for this hotel. The hotel is next to Lake Eden and its a beautiful location for photography and a nice walk. Myself and the family Stayed the night in the hotel we got 4 rooms for all of us and my room was pretty spacious and cosy. i had no problems with the room except for the tight bed sheets and the rolling beds, i would have liked the beds if it had no wheels on the bottom. for an Example i went into the connecting room we had, i walk back into my room and the bed is moved and on a weird angle due to the wheels on the bottom. the staff were some of the best I've had in any hotel i have been to. a massive thanks to Kaitlyn who was in charge of making our function run smoothly and thanks to Hayden for being the bartender last night.

Stayed in a Spa Suite on 2nd floor and was very impressed with the generous size and cleanliness of the Suite. It also had a large balcony that was accessible from both the lounge and bedroom overlooking a lovely lake. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet overnight which was great for a good sleep. Check in was easy and the gentleman on the desk was friendly and helpful. There was ample under cover parking on 3 levels.
