De Ja Vu Hair Wollongong

Okay so the girls are all lovely, but the managment/overall vibe is way off. They had myself and other people sitting waiting for 20+ minutes at a time as they were accepting walk ins with not enough staff, and not experienced staff at that. Overall my colour was way too dark and not what I was after, but it's fine and my trim was acceptable. However, they left a staff member who was not competent/under trained to do what she was doing. I felt stressed the whole time and needed to point out stuff that she needed to do which never feels good. Reasonable pricing and again, everyone was lovely but just not managed well at all.

Today is my first time at this salon. My hair is straight/wavy but feels coarse & dry as I haven't had a haircut for 2 years & my hair was up to my butt. I went for a very short haircut & showed a photo to Anna. This lady is an amazing hairdresser, she listens but also puts in her own insight & always checks with you if you are happy with her work before continuing. She is so professional and you can tell she is very passionate with her craft. I def will be coming back!

i went in for a haircut and the haircut alone was fine. not the best, but it could’ve been worse. however, ann was very passive aggressive and the way she runs her business is incredibly unprofessional. she was quite rude, and she was SO rough on my hair! she didn’t detangle it before trying to cut it, she just raked through it with a comb. decent cut, awful service. not worth it at all.

excellent service and i got got exactly what i asked for. Talked through the entire haircut to ensure i was happy with how much would be cut off. Highly recommend!

Went in for about 2cm to be cut off my hair, some thin layering and a curtain fringe. Double the length I wanted was cut off and some longer strands of hair were left which I cut myself when I got home. I was also after some curtain bangs. Rana was called over by the hairdresser who cut my hair and spent all of 3 minutes cutting my fringe which looks like it's been hacked. I was rushed out and charged $45 for the worst haircut I've ever had in my life. Will definitely never go here again

Always go here for my hair, Ann gives great advice if you don't know what to do with your hair or how to look after it. I got foils done for the first time and they did a great job! Thank you.Always welcoming 5/5 definetly recommend.

My husband had his hair cut here today and it is honestly one of the worst haircuts he has ever had! The woman had no idea what a mid fade was even after he showed her, argued with him about what she thought would look good or not, didn’t wet or style it and it is shorter on one side and completely uneven on top where she has missed parts… he now needs to go to another salon to hopefully get it fixed… total waste of money.

My husband and I dropped by the salon on a wet Friday morning in the hope that I could get an updo, as it was our eldest son's Wedding Day. Ann was very accommodating and did a lovely style that suited me perfectly. She was a delight to speak to and the Salon was a lovely and relaxing place to be. Thank you so much Ann.
