The YMCA who run the pool next to these courts, together with council who granted them the contract, have allowed these courts to fall into ruin. The YMCA and its managers care for little else but the youth swim team which their children are involved in. Any suggestion or move in other areas has met with obstruction and indifference. The YMCA were offered a generous amount of money to restore these courts at no cost to itself, which are also tennis courts, but couldn't see past making a buck from it and the support package fell over in the face of its greed.
