I was really looking forward to trying this place out. I liked the rustic feel of the restaurant. With the right front of house staff this place could be amazing. I enjoyed the pizza but staff came out and asked us if we had the right one? Weird. On being given a menu restaurant staff should have advised what was not available on the menu instead of waiting to see what we would ask for. They also didn't know about certain dishes on menu, and told us so and made no effort to ask another staff member who might know. I will keep an eye on reviews from other patrons as would like to try this place again but with better trained front of house staff.

A really nice surprise in the Redcliffe area. Driven past this novel restaurant numerous times saying we will pop in one day. Well tonight we were starving after work and had that 'fangin for Italian' feeling. Well let me say that Taste of Rome did not let us down. The owners have gone to so much effort to bring the authentic ambience to this quaint treasure. Starting off with the cheese and garlic entree pizza was divine. Superior quality cheeses over a secret Italian tomato and garlic sauce sent the taste buds into frenzy. The standard of food peaked the whole time. Beef lasagne, spaghetti and meatballs, oh lordy did I mention delicious. So good. What we didn't finish, was happily provided in takeaway containers. But the feast didn't stop there. With 2 takeaway tiramisu's devoured later in the evening I can without hesitation say I'll be back...many times. Thanks for a great night. Best service, easy dining.

Wonderful food! We ordered the Ravioli Parmigiana with Ragu, Ravioli Porcini Mushroom with Nonna's sauce, Fettuccini Funghi and a Pizza Rossa Calabrese, with exquisite Focaccia Romana entree. Desserts didn't seem to be home-made, they were pre-packaged for take-away, not served on plates, but still tasted good. All up - YUM. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff, we will be back.

Think we may have found a winner here. Beautiful authentic Italian on offer. We chose the potato pizza, parmigiana pizza, garlic pizza, lasagne, truffle and mushroom ravioli and cannolis. Personal favourite would have to be the lasagne and parmigiana pizza. But all worthwhile trying. Very impressed Indeed. Will be back for sure.

These pizzas are absolutely fantastic, happened across this restaurant on a delivery app, I don't think I will ever go anywhere else, just divine. Thank you for bringing such a beautifully authentic pizza so close to home. I will be sure to have pizza night at least once a week 10/10.

We have had fabulous pasta dishes delivered in the past but the pizzas tonight were disappointing and inedible. They were left at the front door and although we were sitting in the living room waiting for the delivery no one knocked. I found the cold soggy pizzas probably about 15 mins later, too cold to eat.Reheating just doesn't work.Hope our dog enjoys $60 odd worth of pizza. No matter how good the product is, if the delivery service fails ( and we are literally 5 or 6 mins away), the food fails. Sorry.

Bought 9 pizzas last night to feed a soccer team of 15 year olds and their parents. Not only did we have some leftovers, but the reviews were unanimously positive. And these are pizza connoisseurs. Great crisp base, fresh out of the oven, generous with the toppings and loved the variety.We’ll done Taste of Rome.

Pizzas look and taste very traditional and hold the perfect amount of toppings. Meatballs also looked and tasted very traditional. However, they were both way too expensive for the portion we received. Bruschetta and Burcellatum had a perfect balance of flavours. Coffees and hot chocolates always taste devine and are a great price. Tarts and choco roll aren't overly sweet and are well presented. Strawberry tiramisu had an acidic flavour but overall tasted nice.Cafe area is always clean and tidy. Atmosphere is subpar as it is located on a busy main road and directly over the road from a busy school. Seating is also minimal. However, I always order takeaway and am happy to do so due to the great quality of food and drinks.Staff are always wonderful and go above and beyond to help with orders.I would definitely recommend giving Taste of Rome a try if you are in the area. I will certainly be a regular customer!

Everything we ordered was under cooked didn’t even cook the pasta properlyWorse food I’ve ever tastedI did not yell and make a scene in your store you need to get the story straight, the pasta wasn’t even cooked it was still hard, even the burnt toast with cheese on it even though we paid for something else that was worth allot more than that. we were offered a free pizza nothing else. Bit too late to try and make it right now. I will not be recommending you to anyone will be letting everyone know to stay clear of you’s
