Mirkwood Forest Self-contained Spa Cottages

We had the tennis court cottage - very relaxing and beautifully done up, plenty of supplies and a lovely hot tub!

We've stayed in many B&B's and cannot think of one that is better than this. We'll situated, great interiors and they have thought of everything, numerous tea and coffee selections, cereals,,full kitchen, cooking and dining utensils, even a list of the DVD collection. As close to perfect as you can find.

Many stays over the years look forward to it each time. Hosts think of everything, nothing is too much trouble. Facilities perfect, cannot fault. Warm, inviting, everything you would want for a stay close to nature.

My partner and I stayed at Mirkwood Cottages for the Elton John weekend at Hanging Rock. The whole stay was absolutely magical, including the host, Kevin!Thank you for an amazing weekend!A lovely romantic get away! The spa was fantastic!I don't want to ruin it for others....there were some lovely little extras, we will definitely be back!A lot of thought has gone into these cottages, you wont be disappointed!

A great retreat from the noise of Melbourne city. The hosts were very thoughtful with music playing and champagne on arrival. Fantastic and relaxing place to switch off.

Every thing we needed was provided. The weather was freezing but our cottage was warmed by the fire.

The Tennis Court Cottage was absolutely beautiful. The owners have thought of everything; champagne on arrival, gentle music playing, cosy, warm cottage and the spa was ready to get into when we arrived. We had a wonderful time sitting on the veranda watching all the birds. The cottage is set in a forest so it is totally private. The bed was very comfortable. Extra towels were provided for the spa and lovely fluffy robes to get into to keep us warm. I loved setting the fire each evening, everything was ready for us; kindling, fire lighters and matches and there were enough eggs, sausages and locally-baked bread for three breakfasts. We will certainly be back again. Thank you so much for everything. We had a great time. Kathleen and Robert.

Want to stay in bush but only 3 minutes from town. With everything you need to relax. Great hosts.

Such a great place, quiet and amongst nature. Great cottage with fabulous facilities. The outdoor hottub is an especially nice touch whist looking at the night sky
