I have worked with Rob, the team, and Black Diamond Adventures for several years, and they are beyond fantastic. Rob and the team have helped support and grow the Duke of Edinburgh program at my school, assisting in my students' planning, training and skill development. This helps reduce my workload and allows me to enjoy every moment with my students. Rob and the team are highly skilled and caring and go above and beyond to make every trip personalised and exciting for the students. In addition to DofE, I have used Black Diamond to run school camps and programs, which consistently meet the curriculum needs, and no idea is ever too big - they are always willing to help and support making each trip as fun as the last. For example, the upcoming Gold DofE to the Northern Territory has been planned with such detail taking into consideration the religious aspects of the school and students, which the school and parents have praised.I cannot recommend them highly enough for DofE, school camps, or any other programs you want to run!

Big thanks to the Black Diamond team for an outstanding Year 9 camp. This was run professionally and to a high standard. Staff took the time to get to know our students and provided them with a range of awesome outdoor activities. The food was great too!

We have just returned from another incredible Silver Hike run by Black Diamond. To say this company is anything short of phenomenal would be an understatement. With Rob and his teams help, our school has been recognised nationally as one of the largest providers in Australia of the Duke of Edinburgh award having groups ranging from 10 to a 100 kids, multiple times a year. There are so many areas in which Black Diamond Excel which allow us as a public school in Western Sydney, to provide once in a life time experiences for students in a low socioeconomic area.Rob and Connor at the organisation and planning stage continue to provide such an individualised program for each level of hike, tailoring around our specific school needs and diverse student needs, this includes being able to contact them at any time with any question as well as themself and staff presenting highly detailed preparation meetings for our students.The hike is a whole other level of professionalism and individualised care for our kids. The staff are highly skilled in not only the components of the hike such as navigation, geographical information about the area and life skills in cooking/ tent set up/ fire building. The more significant skill is the way they our interact and develop our students mental health, especially their confidence and resilience. They spend countless hours speaking to our kids individually, making them feel important by getting to know them and mentoring them to identify and move past challenges. Our kids gain such a sense of pride which we often don’t get from a regular school camp.Our leaders on the most recent camp, left our kids feeling inspired, and we have seen such an improvement in their self esteem after our camp reflection. The Black Diamond crew/ leaders of Georgia, Lachlan and Connor, I would love to thank. Georgia from the get go, put our students at ease with reassurance, the most positive attitude and built such strong relationships through her genuine care, motivation of each student and amazing insights into her experience of DOE. Lachlan always brings such a calm and composed nature with our students when facing challenges and he found ways to engage our student through his daily reflections, conversation starters or games that occupy the mind while hiking. Connor we have worked with on multiple occasions and each time, he instantly creates a community with our students and brings such connection through his conversations, activities and ability to know and provide such care with patience when individuals needing support with skills such as Kayaking technique or fire building.I could not recommend Black Diamond and their exceptional staff enough to potential individuals, groups or schools. We are so lucky to have this company and the value they provide our students is unmatched. Big big thank you for changing our students lives

BlackDiamond was a great organisation to use for our school's camp. The staff were extremely friendly and had our student's best interests at heart. There were plenty of activities for our students to complete, it was quite strenuous. Our students could not stop talking about how well they were fed. We are definitely interested in creating a partnership with BlackDiamond to use each year.

Black Diamond staff were fantastic. They related so well to our students and made it such a fun experience for all of our students and staff. Organisation was made easy through regular communication and they were able to adjust to suit our needs without any issue. Definitely recommend and plan to use them again this year for a similar whole day program at our school.

WOW! What an amazing job these guys do!I have been fortunate enough to have experienced multiple year group camps, day trips, Duke of Ed hikes and other extra curricular activities with the crew at Black Diamond Adventures. I can honestly say they've been perfect.Nothing has ever been an issue. Rob is always a phone call away and able to accommodate any concerns I have.I big shout out to his staff too. They are awesome to go away with, the students wanted to bring them back to school. Cant talk higher enough of everyone involved!Looking forward to continuing our working relationship together.Thanks for everything so far guys!!

My son went on a school trip to Uluṟu with Black Diamond adventures for their Gold Duke of Ed mid 2022. These guys are the best. The way they interacted with the kids, their work ethics, knowledge, everything they did was with a genuine passion for what they do. They staff from Black Diamond Adventures who went on the trip met our kids at Sydney Airport, and were with them every step of the way. There are admirable, and very good role models for our kids. They got to know every kid individually and made each of them an important part of the team. Several weeks after the trip they had an event at our school where they presented a very professional video of the trip, and a gift for each kid (and they still remembered each one by name and shared stories of the trip). This made a most memorable event for my child, that he will remember for life.I highly recommend any school to try and get in touch with Black Diamond Adventures if they are considering such an excursion. I have a lot of respect and gratitude for these young people. They are good people and brilliant role models for young adults.Thank you for your time, care and memories you created for us.

In my 20 years in public education the excursion experience we received from the Black Diamond crew was unparalleled. Our students not only met great mentors, they came away feeling like that they have forever friends . Professional , personalised and passionate is the service we received from Black Diamond and their partners for our country to the coast experience. 10 out of 10. The students of Collarenebri High School will remember this excursion for the rest of their lives .

Black Diamond and Rob were a pleasure to deal with. The organisation provided excellent team building sessions tailored to our individual needs. The students were engaged by his wonderful staff. Highly recommend the organisation.
