The Edge Apartment Hotel

Staying for a week. 1 bed Apartment with king size bed great !!!! Overlooks the river and is serviced daily. Very clean. Kitchen has everything you need with full size fridge. Restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Will definitely stay again.

I booked a 1 bedroom suite, the room was tastefully furnished and decorated. Small kitchen area with microwave and a pod style coffee machine. Cleaning was faultless. All in a very nice room, and the check in and out was fast and efficient I normally stay at a more expensive competitor, but my choice will change for future stays.

Rooms were very old. Aircon not clean woke up sore throat and puffy eyes.It smelt musky. Was not worth the price $230 for the night. No parking available, had to park on street. If you have no credit card they charge bond $200 on top.

Both my wife and I stayed for 4 nights. We both found the staff to be absolutely awesome and friendly. The views and facilities were great. What we also liked was that we could book all meals. From the hotel precinct to the room. All meals were also fabulous. As well as the staff at the restaurants. The wait staff in particular at ribs and rump were great. We went there on nye without making a booking. Yet the floor manager managed to fit us in. 10/10 rating for our experience.

Booked and stayed in a hotel room for $210 a night. Great location right on the river. Parking was limited. The king bed very comfy. The shower was pitiful, barely any water pressure and the shower head was broken. After adjusting the shower head to a position that actually reached your body, the bathroom flooded. Definitely overpriced.

Great location along the Fitzroy River with some nice restaurants right next to it. Room was spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Only real gripe was on site parking, came back at night to find only a couple of spare parks available but only 1 was large enough to very tightly squeeze in my dual cab Ute. Other than that would certainly recommend staying here if you need a well located and equipped apartment.

I had the one bedroom apartment setup. Best thing I can say is it came with a washer and dryer to do laundry. The living area was big and had a great size balcony. Pretty awesome place!

Great place to stay, lovely location, my room had some view of the river. Friendly staff. Only drawback is their parking, which is first come first serve - meaning that all the small cars will park at the parking spots made for big and tall vehicles, making me spend 10 minutes trying to squeeze into a regular parking spot. This could be resolved by having a sign up declaring those parking spots for tall vehicles only.

Stayed here a couple of weeks. Couple of issues with the rooms like broken aircons and bad Wi-Fi meaning I had to do room changes mid stay overall a nice comfortable apartment in need of an update

I will try my best to accurately summarise and include all the reasons why this is the go to place to stay in Rockhampton.Highlights - The room was impeccably clean and spacious. As a cleaner myself I can be a little critical however I could not fault the quality and found it to be I incredibly thorough with great attention to detail. I noticed that every tissue (including toilet paper) in the room was neatly folded and presented. It’s the little things. Your cleaning staff are fantastic.Furniture is comfortable and practical. I find too many hotels overwhelm space in an attempt to be modern. This place does not.I woke up to the riverfront sunrise every morning with the sound of lorikeets in the trees. If you like your sleep than I would suggest not sleeping with the doors open like I did but it was beautiful. I had one of the best afternoon walks exploring the riverside and heritage buildings.The close proximity to cafes , restaurants and etc is also a bonus as well but even better is that I had no need for them as the edge corresponds with Restaurant 98 which supplied Fantastic food delivered to your room. One of the BEST sticky date puddings EVER!My mother is a repeat customer (I now know why) and I have a lot of respect for The Edge and their treatment of her especially in ensuring that she’s cared for. Overall you can barely find a hotel like this anymore, It’s this combination that transforms a simple hotel into a home away from home.Thank you and your staff for a fantastic stay!The Waerea Family.
