Driven up from Bendigo for the day and came across this cafe with wonderful reviews and it did not disappoint. A small but punchy selection of brekkie and lunch items and perfect for the kids. Coffee was excellent and service was wonderful. Great to see another regional town doing great things.

Lovely Cafe with interesting menu and pastry. Staff are friendly and looked after us really well. Came twice during our 4 days holiday in the area, a must visit if you love coffee and a toastie!

I used to drive all the way from Corio for these toasties. The kids even made a song about them on the drive. The silky taste of coffee as it flowed through my body was like a leaf glowing in the middle of autumn festival. But oh boy, things seem to have taken a turn. My toastie seemed to be replaced with supermarket meat and coffee is now feels like a vodka shot to my eyeball. Please bring back the good times, I’ve deducted 3 stars accordingly.

What a great cafe! Dropped in on our way to Hepburn springs. Reduced menu due to staff shortages but still excellent. Staff were awesome. Highly recommend!

located in a great old building, came for breakfast and the only negative was they were out of mushrooms on that day, everything else was superb, great friendly greeting from the staff, fantastic food, the pork bun highly recommended and good coffee. funky interior and good atmosphere.

I bought a take away coffee from “fox in the chamber” the ambience and the service was so good that decided to sit down, take my time and enjoy the atmosphere of a typical Melbourne coffee shops or at least that is what I call it. I ordered Almond latte double shot which was one of the best I have ever had.Coffee 5/5Ambient 5/5Service (Noah and Hannah) 5/5

Lovely cafe, nice ambience. Extremely good customer service. I had visited the town Woodend on my way to see the Hanging Rocks. The cafe was really busy, but they were able to accommodate us without booking. The food we ordered was also really good and the coffee had a fruity after taste i think , which i enjoyed

Exquisite flavours, beautifully curated food, modest servings, personal service, lively atmosphere. This historic venue has been brought into the modern era and had surprisingly functional acoustics.My whole part said they would be back there next time their in Woodend.Thank you for the lovely experience.
