The Red Gate
Not much to see here apart from a commemorative plaque however was a key point in the history of Alexandra. The red gate separated two pastoral blocks.

The Red Gate
A beautiful piece of History of early Alexandra. A replica gate in the same vicinity as a red painted gate once stood along a fence beside the creek. This was before any town was known and before any structures were built. At one point after gold was discovered, the new township that sprung up almost overnight was known as Redgate Diggings, after the red gate and gold diggings.
