Marinara has just exceeded all expectation, we just moved around the corner, every time I walked around I was tempted to try and dine in, the place looks amazing, with an real Italian atmosphere, authentic, most of the staff is Italian, with that special energy, we also felt so welcomed and well serviced, all smiling and talkative, the food was also outstanding, we had the toscana baked salmon and calamari al limone, both were tasty, and tender, a good peroni Italian beer and closed the night with an awesome tiramisù della casa, semplicemente molto buono, volveremmo pronto…!

Beautiful Italian restaurant with real atmosphere and is much larger than you expect from initial impressions. Seating inside, verandah or back courtyard under the stars. Food is authentic. Bookings are a must Friday and Saturday nights.

Pasta dish was delicious, though the serving size made it a little pricey compared to other comparable restaurants. Service was fine. Food did come quickly (within 30 min). Location was fine. If you are driving, parking can be a bit of a problem.

Seating was not the best as we were all seated in the middle of the walkway, and it was hard for people to walk by. They took a drink order and did not come back. We had to ask for them to come back so we could order. We were never asked for water, and once we finally asked for water, we had to ask 3 people before we got it... The food served was below average as mu salad was drenched in salad dressing and wasn't healthy at all, the picture of a pizza I posted was a chicken and avocado pizza with 4 small cubes of chicken pieces with a couple slices of avocado and a huge bunch of rocket to hide the lack of ingredients which was $29 bucks ripped off!!!!! We were celebrating a birthday and when we asked them to cut the cake they took the cake , brought the plates no silverware and brought the cake back uncut. When we were eating the cake we realised the staff were on break eating dinner themselves so we had terrible service. The bill couldn't be split as they said the boss wasn't there, no one knew how to do it. Will not go back to this place

Wonderful Valentine's night. We were not happy with our table and one of the staff moved us to a much better table without any problems. They were very busy but the food came out in reasonable time. The pizzas were perfect, so too the salad and cannelloni. Highly recommend.

AMAZING FOOD! It’s the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever had! The carbonara is the best one I’ve had! The service was the best. The waiters are so kind and funny! The atmosphere was the greatest. The mood was so good!

We were so looking forward to dinner at this popular Italian restaurant as it had been recommended to us and the reviews seemed very positive, but unfortunately the night was a huge let down for us.Possibly it was because they were extremely busy but as we live in the area and walk past a lot, it's always busy which surprised us with the standard of the food.The two stars are for the entrée of Mussel Napoletana, this was really good and we through if it stays to this standard, wow, what a night.Then, came the mains, we had Calzone and Gnocchi, Gnocchi was served cold and Calzone was very average, dough almost like chewing cardboard.Sent Gnocchi back and second attempt was not much better, tasted very average sent it back, at this point we called it quits for the night.Hats off to them, they nocky the Gnocchi off the bill :)
