And may I add to Andrew's review that this is primarily a pottery shop .. Not any pottery but Polish pottery with exquisite designs and patterns. It's all on show as you have a coffee and cake or as I've done, you sit down for a refreshment as you contemplate which of the many pieces and patterns you'll choose. Wonderful and unique :)

I was looking for very specific Boleslawiec Polish pottery for a friend's birthday. Online selection is lovely but was looking for an extra special piece (I live in Sydney, store is in Melbourne). Heather went out of her way to photograph pieces in the store and email them across. Ended up going with a beautiful center piece bowl with handles as per her recommendation. Bowl arrived quickly and is even more stunning in real life and the customer service has been 5 star. Highly recommend to anyone. I will definitely be repurchasing from The Cup and Mug!

A lovely, family run pottery shop with a coffee bar and cafe style menu as well. Great coffee and food served in an atmosphere more homely than buzzy. All of the food and drinks are served in the pottery too! Highly recommended.

Very nice little tea shop. Tea selection good, also have very nice scones which are freshly made to order. They give you fudge made on the premises with your hot drink, which is a nice touch. Decor and pottery are mainly Polish and Irish. You eat/drink from them, and if you fancy they sell them also. The family that run this are very friendly. This is a bit out of the way, but there's a tram stop right outside and a lovely park across the road so definitely worth it.

Quiet, relaxing and comfy place to just sit and take your time reading a book, a paper, or watch the traffic go by. Whilst surrounded by cute and colourful pottery!
