Great to see that Andrew is back in the village and now at the helm of his own Kite Boarding School. Excellent that he is here with an International Accreditation. Easy launch pad also and in the front of a resort and cafe has to be a big bonus. Well dont Mate.

I loved it! I was a bit scared at first, but Luke and Andrew made me feel so at ease. They are so professional, knowledgeable and passionate about the sport, and their positivity is infectious. Thanks to them, I will be able to kite surf solo very soon!! Highly recommend this company! : )

My experience with Kite Boarding Cairns was awful.There was no wind but they still insisted I take the lesson - I spent the time on the beach - there wasn't enough wind to fly the kite. $200 wastedThe second lesson was on a real blustery day and the waves were very big it was very unpleasant at Palm Cove and there we rocks on the sea bed - I had to walk over.Palm Cove is not shallow and is rocky - a horrible place to learn.There are better places to learn to kite surf - a shallow beach with a sandy sea bed would be much better.Go to Yorkeys Knob or Port Douglas if you want to learn kitesurfing in Cairns

Had a great time winging at Yorkeys on gear hired from Luke last week.Fanatic board, Axis foil and Duotone wing were in top condition, perfect for my level (other set ups were available) and appropriately priced for my two hour session. Also borrowed helmet and impact vest. The spot is great too, with sandy bottom, small shore-break, solid breeze and some nice bumps.Hope to return(Hot tip for Victorians who wing in wetsuits: sunscreen on the legs is not good for knee-starts in small shore-break...!)Thanks Luke
