Lamb rack and Barramundi were perfect. Kids pasta in point. the wine cellar is dangerously good! A country pub with polish

We went for dinner and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room is tastefully decorated and air conditioned. We had a drink in the front bar first and then went in and ordered. I ordered a chicken schnitzel with chips and house made coleslaw. It was absolutely delicious. Not something I'd usually order. My partner ordered one of the chef's specials. It was crispy pork belly on stir fried noodles. He really enjoyed his too. When we are in the area again we'll return for another delicious meal.

Food and Service excellent…all the staff were really knowledgeable about the menu and food choices and the service they all provided was excellent including the courtesy bus that picked us up and drove us back to our accommodation after our beautiful meal …however may I suggest that you have a look at organising somewhere to have a drink before dinner - the front bar is warm and toasty in front of the fire however the experience is not so pleasant when you are interrupted by both the language and unwelcome visits to your table by extremely drunk patrons …just a respectful suggestion …a little rattled however quickly gone when the food was so excellent thank you

I had the wonderful luck stumbling over this place on Google. So glad I did. The breaded chicken burger I had was absolutely f**king spectacular. The chips were the best I've eaten in ages. Missus loved her mushroom gnocchi. And the local wine. The customer service was above excellent. Especially the lovely young (possibly Italian) lady who served us. Made our experience even better. We will be back most definitely and will bring the kids. Wonderful hidden gem just out of Clare.

A very popular hotel with an extensive food menu and local wines. Service was excellent. We had calamari, bao buns croquettes, onion rings and steak, which were all beautifully presented and delicious.A great place to eat but make sure that you book to secure a place!

Just had dinner at this lovely pub. Wonderful people and really polite staff. We ordered the scallops in bisque for entree. Scallops perfectly cooked but the bisque was so heavy with pepper that it burned my throat. For mains I ordered a Thai noodle salad, so sad that this was inedible as it was so heavy on the pepper again! The lamb croquettes were overcooked and dry. My husband ordered a chicken schnitzel and this was very solid and tough. However his chips and slaw were lovely. Staff were very apologetic but no compensation given for a dish (Thai salad) that couldn’t be eaten. Really disappointed as we had read so many good reviews. We have also been here before and really enjoyed it about a year ago.

Great pub, chef went above and beyond to provide me with that catered to my medical dietary needs. Absolutely the best chips of this roadtrip too. Only negative, it was very chilly being at the first table with the breeze come through each time the door opened.

Pleasant ambience & service was decent, although they forgot our garlic bread, wrong sauces for the steaks & 2 of us ordered dukkah crusted lamb racks but they were extremely bloody, the fat was raw, no crust to the outside of them & no taste which was disappointing. We love lamb but this was really lacking. The kangaroo was perfectly cooked. Expensive for what we received.

Wonderful pub. We arrived very late and they were happy to serve us. Food is next level, restaurant quality not pub quality.wines are very reasonable. Go there you’ll love it!
