Coastal Island Safaris

We had Greg as our tour guide. Absolute legend of a guide and excellent tour. Pick us up from our hotel and dropped us off after. Door to door service.The off road four wheel driving was great fun and the set up for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea was perfect. Definitely worth it as a must do activity when in Brisbane. Greg made the effort to find all types of animals for us to see while on the trip and very informative with his knowledge of the island. Great day

From the time we made our booking, the team at Coastal Island Safaris were so friendly and attentive.Picked up on time from our accomodation, the even the drive to the ferry was really good - Greg treats everyone like they are friends of his that he is taking out for the day. Conversation was easy, and it didn't feel like a sightseeing tour.. just a casual chat with a bunch of people. He even managed to find us some wildlife in suburbia BEFORE we got to the ferry! The ferry ride was great - a really cute morning tea setup was had, and we were lucky enough to go and visit the ferry captain too. The actual time on North Stradbroke was phenomenal. It's not called a 4WD safari for nothing... and the hand holds in the back of the vehicle definitely get used! We saw such beautiful vistas, learned lots about the island and its history, the local Quandamooka people, and the wildlife... wow! Whales, dolphins, turtles, kangaroo, bats! Everything was provided for on the day... you can literally turn up with a camera, a water bottle, and your swimmers. Dont bring food, a book to read, or any other distractions - you have a full day planned with an expert company that will ensure your day is amazing! And worth every single cent paid for, plus more!

Epic day out. Our Guide (Greg) was very informative about the Island and its natural habitat. We saw some amazing sights including marine life, and the occasional Kangaroo & Koala. The BBQ lunch on the beach was a highlight for me. Highly Recommend *****

I am writing this review on behalf on my deaf mother:She had a terrific time! She said it was absolutely fantastic!The driver tried to engage with her as much as he could and tried as hard as possible to communicate and he did so well! He absolutely did not have to!The trip was incredible and she felt like she got so much more than she bargained for!Thank you so so much for making her so happy!

We had a really amazing day out to Stradbroke island. We saw many animals such as Koalas, Kangaroos, Turtles, Dolphins, Bats, and more. Greg showed us many amazing spots on the island. The 4 wheel driving was a lot of fun. Also driving over beaches getting to see a lot was so beautiful. Going for a swim and having a really good lunch just rounded up the day perfectly. Overall, it was a really amazing day and a lot of fun with Greg.

I was traveling solo and joined a small group tour with Coastal Island Safaris and they were fantastic! We went to North Stradbroke Island and I had the greatest day and saw so many beautiful spots on the island....highly recommend!

The trip was amazing, Greg was very instructive, very good to find all animals on the island and in the water and a very good cooker! An awesome experience with all what we were expecting! Special mention for the drop in drop off at our place!

We were three friends. We really loved our day! We were with Greg and we appreciate a lot his funny attitude and his knowledge of the island! We saw a lot of animals (dolphins, manta ray, turttles, koalas and kangourous and big big bats ). The out trail with the 4X4 was exciting! We strongly recommended this tour!!!

I had a wonderful day on Stradbroke Island! Small group, very personal care. A really entertaining island tour with great views, many animals, explanations about plants, swimming and a bbq on the white beach. Perfect, thanks Greg for that all in one day!
