Love the food and coffee! The doma breakfast is great and the French toast is the best I've ever had. The lunches are really interesting and delicious. Nice garden to relax with kids or dogs. The coffee is also great!

The expectation when visiting an unknown restaurant/Cafe will always be stuck in the middle ground. Everything from the front of house to the chefs in the back. Nothing on any given day will be the same.Doma was under no other circumstance. The Cafe was recommended from a close friend and so I had to try it out.I must say, from the absolute beginning to the very end, was nothing short of an amazing morning. The front of house where nice, polite and very friendly and the food that came after was incredible. The flavours, the textures, the sauce & the coffee. All of it, completely and utterly beyond any experience that I've had for quite a while.Highly recommended. Will be back in a couple of weeks.Thank you for making my partner and my morning a great one.Matt

Had a beautiful dinner last night. The Team were lovely and welcoming and did all they could to make us welcome and comfortable. We didn't make a reservation but they accommodated us on the picnic tables outside but brought a heater and blankets to keep us warm. Food was amazing and used lots of local produce and foraged greens which were delicious. Would highly recommend!

This is the second time I've been here. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The food, though. That's the real gem. And it's the reason we went out of our way to go back when we visited Byron. So so delicious. And super fresh. There's something for everyone. Next time I visit Byron, I'll be sure to go back.Additionally, the drive to get there, through the hinterlands, is gorgeous.

A long drive from Byron Bay to have lunch. Got there at 2pm and lunch service was closed but we were accommodated by chef with some delish Japanese salads and freshest sushis. The place was an old Federal building which was historical to the area. Having Japanese food at this scenic iconic Australian building was quite refreshingly interesting. It was so unexpected as we thought we'd be having some Aussie tucker like pies and sausage.

I would like to say that this cafe is a hidden gem, but it is not, it is very popular and busy. The savoury food is very much Japanese style or heavily influenced by Japanese cuisine, while the sweets are very much cafe classics. The food is fresh, at one point we saw the chef pop out to grab some more herbs from their garden.Don’t expect a $2 sushi train roll here, they are quality and will set you back $5-6, but they were worth every cent.

Highly recommended. Very nice food. I'm not normally a huge fan of Japanese cuisine, but the selection and quality meals at Doma Cafe surprised me. Great location and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly as is the staff. Looking forward to my next visit.

I love the Doma. OMG! The food is out of this world. The flavours, tastes and textures you are never going to manage to make yourself at home. Service is exceptional and the atmosphere is cool, comfortable and relaxed. Try the eggplant. Utterly divine.
