Hotel Renmark

Very good service. Rooms are not bad. But small for 2 people. I got the Motel room, therefore unable to comment on the hotel rooms. Good and safe parking area. Location is great. Near Murray River, restaurants, club and pubs. Also very close to the Renmark Shopping center.

Unfortunately our stay at the Renmark hotel was really disappointing this year. The only redeeming quality was the room, the view of the river and the reception staff who are always lovely. In the restaurant, coffee and orange juice took such a long time to arrive at our table after we had already started eating one morning. People on other tables could be heard also complaining about the time it was taking for coffees and juice to arrive. On a second morning I was given a chai latte instead of a vanilla coffee latte I had asked for and again drinks arrived after breakfast was already served. At this point I told the waiter who said she would happily replace the drink to not worry about it as it would be very likely I would need to wait another half hour for a coffee. Ordered fried eggs on toast and the eggs came out rubbery with yolks that were so over cooked you would think they were boiled. Another morning I went to the restaurant bar for a glass of orange juice and the lady at the coffee machine was very rude and abrupt about the bar not being open before 10am and that I had to order at the next counter even though it was already 10:10am. Lastly as far as I am aware check out is 10am but we had room service knocking on our door at 9:20am on our departure day which made us feel kind of rushed to leave our room early. Sadly when we shared our experience with some of the locals they were already aware of some of the issues the hotel is having. It’s really unfortunate how our experience unfolded this year. Ever other year I have stayed at the Renmark Hotel and I have had nothing but positive experiences here. I really hope next holiday season we come back to the region we can hear more positive things from the hotel we used to love so much.

The room was very clean, modern and light. We stayed in a family room with balcony and river view.Staff were lovely, offering clean towels and extra milk if needed.Super happy with the amount of room, the bar fridge was not super small, allowing us to store alot of food which is often not the case when travelling!Extra blankets provided are super warm.The price was excellent as well.Also within walking distance of the river, CBD and bottle-o.**If travelling with small children, the base of the shower acts as a shallow bath which is cool.Genuinely can't fault it. Highly recommend checking in here for a longer stay!

Stopped in for a quick drink, lovely big hotel. Staff very friendly and great beer garden. Menu looked good and eyed a salad bar as well

My wife and I launched in the TANAY Bistro. Excellent menu, first rate service, great support plus an interesting wine choice. The food took a while to arrive, but fresh bread rolls took the edge off our hunger. The food was equally excellent as was the dessert and the coffee. We will definitely come again.

I just dropped in for a coffee and a quick catch up on the work calls. The new renovations look great, the customer service is great and the coffee was good too.

Dinner in the new extension was really good. Friendly, professional service. Food was reasonable and was great quality. My chicken parmigiana was tasty, not dry and heaps of it (for the half size). Even bar waiting staff were friendly and happy. Well worth a visit.

It's a beautiful hotel. Good sized, clean rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. Being by the river makes it more serene. Loved the museum.

I really like eating here.Over the Last few years I have had some amazing Meals.I love steak. I have had some excellent steaks here.NOV 22: Tonight it wasn't so good. It was way too rare. It was a great cut of scotch fillet and tasted great. But Chef - it wasn't medium rare, check before you sent them out.I haven't given up on you chef. I will come back next trip and you will cook me another that won't disappoint, I'm sure.
