Friendly staff, nice outdoor area , coffee disappointing. Too hot and on allowing to cool rather bitter. Maybe I just got a bad barista but was a Friday morning and place was fairly busy. Pea pancake was nice texture but rather bland despite the feta.

Food, coffee, service all top notch. Have eaten in and had takeaway. Managed to sneak in a table just after the Saturday morning peak and felt quite lucky. Despite the crowd the staff were super friendly and attentive. Food took a reasonable amount of time, not short but not too long eitherCoffee: Beans from coffee alchemy never fail to deliver and Plunge really does it well. I needed no milk or sugar in my black coffee, wonderfulFood: Shakshuka and sourdough brekky, both so good. Really flavoured well, made and presented with love

Great coffee and good food. Ordered the Prawn Tacos which I was unfortunately unable to finish but it was delish (could do with a bit less mayo imo). They got an interesting menu compared to your normal Cafe food

Solid Mediterranean at a fair price. Good choice in the Summer Hill strip. Enjoyed the shakshuka as a late lunch. Ordered the lamb skewers, which could do with more lamb than fries, but I'll let it slide. Great coffee too.Very friendly and acommodating staff. Not bad to use dine vouchers on.

Enjoyed a quick breakfast here with a friend recently. Opted for the halloumi and egg roll on brioche. Was very pleased with the prompt service and quality of the food. Cute little courtyard out back, so we got some fresh air and sat in the sun. Coffee was great, I will definitely return

Firstly, I have chosen one star because it's not possible to choose no stars. We ordered take away for pick up at 11.30am. Upon arriving I was told they just needed to make the juices which was all very reasonable. It was ready a few mins after that (I could see the take away bags and juices all sitting on the front table). However, no one handed me the order so I assumed it was another order and not mine. 20 mins later, the same person approached me and asked what I was waiting for. They were apologetic immediately and handed me what had been sitting on their table for 20 mins!! It took me another 10 mins to drive home so needless to say the food was horrible as it was barely warm, chips soggy etc. after having been in packaging for half an hour.On Mother's Day, we decided to give them a 2nd chance and ordered there again in the hope that the experience and food would be better (especially if it wasn't trapped in cardboard containers for half an hour!) No issues on pickup this time but the 2 x corn fritters (for the two mums!) we ordered were so burnt they were not edible, see photos. We rang and they offered to replace them which meant I needed to waste at least another 20-25 mins driving back and forth while both mums had to sit around watching others eat their meals. Upon arriving, I received the most insincere apology when I asked how they could serve this to their customers. The response I received was 'it's Mother's Day, we're busy', to which I responded 'that's not really an acceptable reason'. I then rudely received the comment 'it's gonna have to be'.Needless to say, we won't be going back here and hope others don't either so they don't have the experience the same poor food and service. For those who decide to go anyway, please try not to go on a 'busy' day because apparently to them that's an acceptable reason to serve you rubbish!

One of my favourite cafes in Sydney. Great coffee and food, especially the Mediterranean dishes. Favourites include the Shaksuka, chicken gyro wrap, fattoush and fish tacos. The owner is super nice also.

This place is always awesome, service is great and food never disappoints. Chef here is super creative and besides the regular menu, they always have something new and different to offer for limited time, although it's always keeping the line on the type of cuisine.Generally is quite busy but they help to accommodate you quite quick even if is packed.

Great food and lovely service. The menu has kind of a Mediterranean-Middle Eastern feel. My friend had the zucchini fritters which were delicious; I had the falafel wrap which was pretty standard (the fries were spot-on though).Prices very reasonable so good value.Best of all, they’ve got a courtyard with umbrellas so you can sit outside - greatly appreciated in these covid times.

One of my top favourite cafes, I have lunch here once or twice a week when working from home. The menu is fantastic with a touch of Middle Eastern flair, and everything is delicious. My favourites are the fish tacos, zucchini fritters (actually deep fried, as a fritter should be) and the unique and delicious pea pancakes for a more breakfast-y option. As a tea person I love the Egyptian tea (not enough cafes pay attention to those of us weirdos who don't drink coffee). The courtyard in the back is lovely and relaxing, and the prices, with most dishes under or just above $20, are very reasonable compared to similar places in the area. What really sets this cafe apart for me is the consistency in quality across the menu and over time. Highly recommend!
