Goju Kai Karate IKGA QLD

I joined the club after having trained Goju Kai overseas for many years. My experience joining the club has been nothing but positive. Everyone has been very welcoming, the coaching is really good and there is a great balance of having fun while training karate and constantly developing.

Our six year old comes home to teach our three year old all the moves. Karate is building her resilience and focus. Classes provide the right balance of fun and training. Amazing team of trainers.

An excellent style that combines the hard and soft elements of the self defense art. I trained when I was younger and have recently returned after a long hiatus after coming to Brisbane for work. The club is affiliated with Goju Kai internationally which means the teachers themselves benefit from experienced masters from Japan and around the globe. Karate is an excellent discipline for school aged children as like music it teaches that you must learn the basics before you can move to the advanced. Academic studies have found that children that study karate do better academically. This in no doubt due to the self discipline and focus required to progress. I highly recommend Goju Kai to both Junior and seniors of any age.
