Mindarie stinks so bad, it's getting worse. How is no one else talking about this?!

I go to the tip regularly where green waste is $80 a tonne. Went yesterday to be informed it is going up to $120 a tonne. How is this possible and how can they get away with it. Balcatta is $85 a tonne and it isn’t going up. Seems to me the shire is trying to make a lot of money out of this instead of doing a service to us already over charged rate payers . Absolutely disgusting. I will be taking it up with my local MP.

Great place to drop off your drop-offables, and I recommend browsing through the repurposing shop!Looking for cutlery and crockery to take camping? A rug for the laundry or workshop? A fave old DVD... You'll be surprised by what you can find!

$27.00 to dispose of a single mattress is excessive, especially when the staff whilst sitting in a forklift points to where to drop it rather than assisting to dispose of it. I'm not surprised why there is so much fly tipping across Perth when this is the only alternative option to dispose of good household furniture.

I'm a bit hesitant to post this as Tamala Park is rad and I don't want it to be popular because I love it. They have everything. And cheap. Need a couch that's still good but costs $30? Tamala Park. Need a heap of soft close hinges for $5? Tamala Park. Tables? Chairs? Wardrobes? Beds? Bikes? Bikes? Bikes? I'm sure you catch my drift. Its great and the staff are always nice.

The most expensive place to take building meterials. They charge $200 a tonne. Found a place on flynn drive, all day recyling. Went with a load that would probably cost $400 at tamala park, only cost me $38. Very rude workers. Will never go there again

Very few items had a price which meant you had to ask the one staff member how much every item cost. Items were overpriced for what they were. I was hoping to find some old tools, old tiles for mosaic and bricks but came out empty handed. I guess I should have expected it to smell that bad with its proximity to the tip. Over all very disappointed. If the point is getting items reused instead of going into land fill they really should drop their prices.

Wow. This team is amazing. The Earth Carer's program over multiple facility tours has been an enlightening and thought-provoking journey of waste. The detail of education and transparency they provide into their complex operations is incredible. Their passion and knowledge allows them to celebrate the wins, keep a positive-future focus and still be utterly honest about the so, so many opportunities for improvements that we need to step up to. Peg Davies and her support team are super stars and I thank them so much for the opportunity :)

I went to dump some unused bikes and furniture. The gate operator said the recycle shop will take the items.I exited the dump and entered the recycle area.I was instructed to stop at several different stations after staff fished through the packed items. Eventually I was told that 1 item would need to be dumped.30 minutes and $17 later I left. Not happy. Don't waste you time with the re sell shop.
