BMI has carried out pre-purchase house and termite inspections for us and the level of service and professional approach was second to none.We had the pleasure of Rod to inspection on a number of occasions. The inspector has picked up far more than we were aware of and his on-site explanations were in depth and easy for us to understand. A clear and very concise report accompanied the next day with a follow-up call to clarify the findings was provided and this resulted in the peace of mind we were looking for prior to buying the property.In brief, the experience was 5-stars all the way from booking the inspection to the follow up call to further discuss the property conditions. I found Building Masters Inspections on the net, so took a punt on them. I am so very glad we did. They are amazing. We were in a huge rush to organise a building inspection on a house we wanted to buy, and very late in the day, literally, I rang their 1300 number, and Mike picked up and spoke to me so knowledgeably and informatively, that I engaged them on the spot. Mike sent out an expert to inspect the property the next day and the day after that, we were able to buy the house, comfortable in the knowledge that we had save many thousands of dollars, as we were able to use the faults in the building to negotiate with the vendor. We got a property inspected by them in July and it wasn't a great experience. The inspection was done on a Friday on a premise that we would be able to speak with the inspector on Saturday if things are not clear in the report. First, it was difficult to get hold of the inspector, I had to email Mike several times before I could speak with the inspector. The inspector wasn't happy to talk to us and was condescending on some of our naive questions. He also overlooked several issues, which we are now seeing after moving into the property. Wasn't expected from a professional.

I called Mike before the long public holiday and he made sure to organise an inspection as soon as possible.He was prompt in his response even though like I've mentioned it was during the long Easter holidays.He was very diligent and insightful when I needed an extra layer of explanation in regards to the results of the report.His professionalism definitely reflected his 40 odd years in the industry,no conflict of interest just honest and informed advice.Mike went above and beyond of what was required from his job he took the time and gave me enough information for me to take a decision.This was one of the best phone calls I made ,I would highly recommend and would again and again ask Mike and Rod for their precious help.I am so very grateful,thank you again.

My initial call was picked up on a public holiday and i was given some excellent advice by someone who seemed to be very knowledgeable. The inspector arrived at the scheduled time and provided a very thorough report immediately following the inspection. He picked up many things that I would not have noticed, some minor but mostly significant. I felt the price was high and a cheaper contractor could have been found but I may not have had the same confidence.
