Dr Thomason is a practically-minded ‘nuts and bolts’ psychologist. If you are looking for warm and fuzzy hand-holding psych, don’t go here. If you want practical, down to earth advice and a ‘how to’ plan for moving forward, as I do, Sally is perfect. It depends what you need. And she actually has a PhD in clinical psychology. Which is rare.

Couldn't recommend her highly enough. If I could give more stars I would.

I would give less than one star. Would not recommend to anyone. It Was a horrible experience. I would go in feeling good but i would leave wanting to cry and felt overwhelmed. Dr Sally Wouldn't listen, she talked most of the time, would say the same things every visit, even though I had so many other things on my mind to talk about. She Didn't understand anything i said, she was very controlling and judgemental. She also told me to not come back unless I sort my life out.

I would give less than one star if I could. Was genuinely a damaging experience. Wouldn't listen. Didn't understand. Very controlling

I believe the job of a psychologist is to listen and support a patient, particularly on their first visit. Neither skills were evident on my first and only visit. ( I left part way through our session. ) Perhaps Ms Thompson should read her reviews and listen to how her clients feel in regard to her abrupt manner.
