13th February 2023I placed a 5 star review exactly 1 week ago when I brought a group of my friends. We ordered two lobster pastas & a full rack of beef short ribs. I was amazed at the quality of pasta and short ribs. Waitress was great although food came out very slowly.20th February 2023Today, I took my husband to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. First of all, the waiter assigned to our table was rude from the first time he served me. He couldn’t understand what I was saying. He had a strong accent and even the table beside us couldn’t understand.I ordered a half rack beef short rib and a lobster pasta. I don’t do pork so I would have never even mentioned the word “pork” however after waiting 20 minutes for food, a pork rib came out. I said I didn’t order a pork rib and the waiter got extremely annoyed and argued with me. I was shocked at his attitude. Please train your staff properly.The manager ended up changing the dish and brought out the beef short ribs about 15 minutes later. However, the quality was utterly horrible. How can it be so different to last week? It was extremely oily (see attached photo) and the spaghetti was overcooked.This shows that the restaurant lacks consistency hence I am not going to recommend this place to my friends anymore.And also, thank you for ruining my second year anniversary.

Went with a group of four on a Tuesday evening.We were quickly seated, and food came out promptly after orders were taken. Everything was delicious, and the meats were cooked well. Would definitely be back in the futureWhilst not the responsibility of the runner to know the menu, it would be have been nice for the runner to have known the differences between the day/lunch/menu, as we were originally hoping to grab some burgers.(Dishes named in the captions of each photo)

Delicious lunch menu with vegan options. Meals were delicious, fresh ingredients and appealing to the eye. Dined alfresco on the walkway with view of Barangaroo. Reasonable prices.

A great place to grab a steak i stumbled upon it when the place I was going was closed on a Monday. The staff was nice, attentive, and great with their suggestions! I had the wagyu steak with two cocktails. I had to leave before dessert in order to make the ballet but the staff was beyond friendly I felt so bad leaving so quickly. Will definitely visit again!

Steaks were one tier overdone. I thought it lacked seasoning, so average for me. We ordered the fillet, Ribeye and Scotch Fillet. Not that value in my opinion but service and atmosphere were great!

We were looking for somewhere to eat after touring and found this place not to far from the Bangaroo Ferry. We got there a little after five with no rez and they were able to take us in (there were empty tables). I got the short rib, mom got the wagyu burger, and bestie got the barramundi. Mom didn't get to finish the burger because it was alot of meat. Bestie and I wiped our plates clean. The short rib was really tender and the brussels sprouts were tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly. Seems like they know their way the meats.

Really enjoyed my weeknight dinner at the butcher’s block catching up with a friend. We had the hummus & flat bread for a starter, and then I had the lobster & crab spaghettini! Both were honestly to die for! It was dear, but probably average city prices. $150 for two, two drinks each, two mains, one starter. Will be back! :)

After wandering around Barangaroo unsure of where to go and eat steak, we eventually settled for The Butcher's Block for it's lovely decor, space, and as we discovered, good service and quality food. I ordered the rump steak with bone marrow jus, gourmet chat potato fries and a side of corn. Great combo, I should have had a glass of red, but I'm trying to cut back. Recommend the venue for a substantial lunch/business meeting and pleasant atmosphere.

Quite possibly the best beef I have ever had. DELICIOUS. Great cocktails too, everything came out so quickly! The staff were so lovely as well, our waitress Satara was so amazing, so welcoming and always smiling. 100% will recommend and come back for sure.
