Absolutely appalled at this little shop. Rude condescending staff member with no interest in actual customer service only an interest in closing up in a minute" when we had arrived 40 minutes before closing

Wow! What an experience! Enquired about formal wear, was told quite bluntly that although they can make things to order..... I'd be better going away" ... when I asked what she meant she said "to another town" not friendly or helpful

Gotta give Mellors 5 stars for a classic 1950s drapery, just like we were taken to as kids for new clothes. The store still has the functioning cash system that took the customers cash to the upstairs office and shot the change back to the counter. See it in some of the pics. Of course it's not used today, what with credit cards etc. Mellors appear to still be trading strongly on Gayndah with a well stocked large store and we really enjoyed talking to a gentleman who is no doubt the owner. If you are travelling this way, you may enjoy dropping in as we did, and you are bound to receive good service as well.
