Peppers Salt Resort & Spa Kingscliff

We had a private rental I believe, as we had to pick our keys up from a nearby real estate agent. The resort itself is very nice, clean room, great location. But, there was a wine glass put away that was dirty/sticky, no mugs and not enough power points for the kettle and coffee machine to be plugged in at the same time.

Just had five days at this wonderful place. It was so relaxing and comfortable, very peaceful.Had a one bedroom apartment fully decked out. Moments away from their beautiful Pool . Really yummy buffet breakfast. Lovely restaurants within walking distance. The staff were kind, helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Definitely going backIt’s close to many other lil towns.

The room was amazing and so spacious, spa bath was so good, staff were lovely, beach pool was definitely a hit!!We had a great time! Cute community surroundings, with nice cafes and restaurants. Beach was extremely close although due to wether wasn’t accessible unfortunately but without the wind, would’ve been awesome!The only let downs were the room service was only available from 12pm and not much of a menu, tennis and other things were at a cost, room service was an extra cost of $35 a day (without linen) although wasn’t explained this in the booking online, cost of $15 for extra towels (only 2 provided for 4 days stay but thankfully we had a washing machine and dryer) also didn’t explain where the rubbish went - so four days of build up and heated pool wasn’t heated at all.Besides that, we still had a great time.

The hotel room with the plunge pool which you shared with the room next door, we didn't get room service daily which we've paid for, the room was a bit small and basic for the premium price charged. The bird droppings in the free underground car park, is something to be aware of, I wished the front office would have mentioned this upon check-in, yes they are protected species, but still no one wants their cars covered in bird droppings, you are charging a premium to stay there, at least that is something you can do. A sign or a kind information at the front desk would have been fine. One thing they said they will reimburse the cost of a car wash is up to $30.00, So we have done so, and still waiting for that to happen.

This place was great, the room was a bit simple but the other things made up for it. Unfortunately, it was built on top of some land that used to be a lot of wildlife, but some developer bought it and destroyed it (according to a local). The staff were great, for me at least, but one seemed a tiny bit rude and there was an extensive page of questions. The bathroom didn’t lock, and the shower tap was confusing, and I’m not sure that the front door was locked either. Nonetheless, a great place to stay. Had dinner (paid for by us) and breakfast (provided) in the hotel and both were amazing. It was winter, but that didn’t stop me from going in the freezing cold lagoon pool which, if anyone’s wondering, is not heated. We only spent the night but I’d happily come again. One of the better places I’ve been, but had a few drawbacks, leaving a 3/5 resort.

Exceptional place to stay. Some rooms are tired but the staff are welcoming. Cocktails at any time is a treat plus all the restaurants attached mean you never have to leave the resort. It has something for everyone.

Really enjoyed the whole experience. Checked in for one night stay with my hubby, just to have a chill getaway. Facilities are amazing and the staff was lovely! I can't remember the name... One guy and one lady both from reception... Maybe Brett? anyway both very lovely! Shout out to them, they just made me feel like coming back again!! Room was nice, and convenience of location right next to Kingscliff and next to the Spa at Salt. Parking included which is very convenient!Room was lovely, just perfect for our lovely getaway with my hubby! The one bedroom apartment has everything needed, all furnished apartment with laundry and a beautiful bathroom too! I want to go back!

Great time at Peppers. Beautiful location and friendly staff. Beautiful food, just order sides if you are looking for a large" serving. Room service finishes at 8pm

Had a great time there. Our room was nice wooden flooring was bit rundown but rest was fine. Clean and great customer service.2 pools to choose from, it keeps the crowd separate. Few restaurants and park outside for kids to play. Beach is 5mins walk.Breakfast I wont recommend rather go to French Patisserie just 3mins walk away along with some other restaurants.5mins walk to the beach. Lots of Parking. Dinner option is there but bit limited. We had it once and it was worth it.

I don't know where the rooms are that are pictured, but mine didn't look like any of them.The room was clean and basic. The bed was the softest, most uncomfortable I've ever tried to sleep in :( :( I did, however, like the different types of pillow.Restaurant only open for breakfast, but I'd recommend the french patisserie across the street.Bar snacks available and limited room service with a fee?Lagoon pool is lovely but could get crowded. Beach is 5 mins walk from the hotel. I couldn't see the beach or water from my room and I'd doubt there were many rooms where you could.Great parking, but make sure you don't park under red pipes as the shallows will make a mess of your car.
