Gong Cha Canberra CBD

I always grab my favorite drinks there which is the Brown sugar fresh milk along with the Matcha red bean waffles. However, my husband used to see the staff tasted the pearls with his bare finger in front of him. That was not the right thing to do. Hope you could improve that.Anyway, still love Gong Cha...

Came here tonight and tried to order my two drinks, however in the middle of my ordering - one of the staff member’s friends came in and I was interrupted mid speech.This group of friends I presumed were Michael’s because they were obnoxiously screaming his name in the shop part way through my order. Michael then literally waved me aside by flicking his hands to the side mid-order to talk to his friends and take payment for their order.This was not a quick process as they were bumbling about discussing who should pay and debating whether they were going to pay by card or cash.5 minutes later when their payment had been taken and the girl in the group had stopped being a banshee I was able to continue my order with the other staff member in the store.Such a strange experience as the drinks are lovely and I live just upstairs so I come here all the time but it was bizarre to be treated like I wasn’t also a customer tonight.

A very minimalistic tea spot; I enjoyed the wide variety they have like smoothies, milk tea, fruit tea, yogurt and etc. It’s the same with their toppings so you can have fun with combinations! Going inside, I really enjoy the aroma inside here, subtle sweetness from the egg waffles (which they sell).The service is wonderful and the quality of their drinks are amazing.(I will update this when I try their egg waffle)

Walked in this afternoon to get a drink and egg waffle, ended up getting a waffle like this. The staff who made the egg waffle literally put it into a pen holder to cool it down. I don’t know if it was too difficult for her to put the waffle into the right container to cool down which was just next to the pen holder!!! She just took out the pen from the pen holder and put the waffle in to it.At this point of time, everyone is so concerning about hygiene problems, and she still did that IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!!! I threw the egg waffle straight away after taking the photos.

Have never met my expectation. Staff was friendly, however, the drink taste was not great like the other Gongcha stores in Canberra. I’ve always ordered a particular drink. Sometimes, the drink was too sweet. Sometimes, I was given very limited milkfoam even though I ordered double and paid for it. The most annoying thing is when customers order a drink which has milkfoam on the top but staff covers up the cup by plastic, instead of giving them the red lid. It happened very often to me. Please note it’s not the way you drink milkfoam!!

Staff are very kind and the sitting area is always tidy and clean. The best bubble tea place in Canberra for sure :)

My favourite Bubble Tea brand and I love how they are in the city in such a convenient location. I always get their Premium Pearl Milk Tea and the staff are always so fast, efficient and friendly. I love the interior with the seating and the teddy bears and I always opt to come here over the other bubble tea stores if I can. Would highly recommend. I love this place and their drinks.

Waited 15 minutes to order. Waited 31 minutes for one drink. The staff did not enforce social distancing, easily 15 people in the tiny store

Their little star peach green tea slush！Its a must，if you like fruity and refreshing drinks！ The gentlemen who made my drink tailored my drink to what I want，hes amazing！
