Lithgow Valley Motel
Felt disgusted sleeping there. They had a very uncomfortable and broken down mattress, probably decades old, covered with a single unfitted dirty/stained sheet. With the fee I was charged to rent this room I expected a much newer and cleaner room. Not recommend.

Excellent and spacious rooms, super clean and tidy, and very reasonably priced. The bathrooms are newly renovated and the room contained all amenities (fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery, shampoo/conditioner, towels, hair dryer, bath mat etc). Breakfast can be delivered in rooms as an optional extra. The location is really convenient, but still quiet (couldn’t hear any trucks or traffic at night). The bed was comfortable (spare pillow in the closet) and quilt was warm, which is important as it can get quite cool at night. Lovely small family business. Thank you for a very comfortable stay!

It will be interesting if I sleep tonight. Tiny rooms but very clean which is important to me. No privacy between rooms. Can hear everything. There was a man outside my door smoking and talking loudly to another man but it’s friendly chatter so not a big deal. It’s only for sleeping while I attend a work Christmas function tonight. I’m glad I bought earplugs. Check in lady was very nice. Basic as basic accommodation but bed was comfy (another importance.) Doing my morning yoga will be tricky. I bought my own pillow and top sheet after reading other reviews. Lovely outlook. It’s not worth $90 a room but it was the cheapest I could find with a bathroom.

Lithgow Valley Motel
Only spent one night but found the room very comfortable, neat and tidy. Equipped with the usual tea & coffee facilities. Also a very effective heater, very comfortable bed and good shower. I found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Four star rating is for comfort, accessibility and value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Clean and neat. Cheap rates. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. Kathy was friendly and offered must see sights for our short trip.Only downside - It rained overnight and the dripping of the water from the gutter on the car parked outside our window kept us awake

We had an enjoyable night in a clean and comfortable room. The lady in the office was friendly and helpful. This morning a generous and delicious breakfast was delivered to the room promptly on time. Thank you for your hospitality. We will stop by again.

Basic motel offering the essential amenitiesInternal layout of room for 3 was a little awkward, but still usableBed sheets are a doona over a fitted sheet - no top sheet. Was a little surprised by this, but it was warm and the bed sheets and room were cleanThough close to main western rail line and in sight of Great Western Highway, not a single train or truck was heard, greatly increasing my appreciation for the establishment. Wondering though if this may have just been good fortune on the night we stayed

My husband and I needed to find a motel that was reasonably priced but also we needed just the basics. It is old but so very clean. Had a good night's sleep.
