Augusta Escape Apartments

Augusta Escape was a really good place to stay at. Spoke to the owner/receptionist over the phone and she was kind enough to allow us to check in even late at night. Ambience is really nice. The rooms themselves are air conditioned and really well maintained. The beds are nice and there is a kitchen and TV as well. Complimentary coffee powder, tea bags and hot chocolate mix are kept in the kitchen with fresh milk in the refrigerator which was a nice gesture. There is nice parking space as well.Only reason I didn't rate it 5 is because the bathroom shower is too small even for short people. I myself am 6 foot tall and I could barely reach all parts of my body.Cost was pretty standard as well, costed around $160 and there were 5 of us.Other than that, I totally recommend this place.

First impressions were good but after a good look round it was in need of a good clean.Owners who live on site don't bother to come and see if everything is ok.

What a treasure! Everything you would want after walking the Cape to Cape. Great shower, comfy bed and a washing machine! Plenty of shampoo, conditioner and soap to wash off trail dirt. Plenty of space to spread out camping gear. Super location- walking distance to restaurants, bakery, grocery store and the bus stop to catch bus back to Perth. Many thanks to Kyra and Mark for helpful information. We recommend Augusta Escape and we would definitely stay again.

The place was clean. The bed linens were white and clean and the blankets smelled fresh. Plus the small things count such as a can of cooking oil, salt, pepper, fresh milk, coffee, tea, chocolate beverage, cleaning wipes for the BBQ grill and clean kitchen towels so although these were basic it was truly self contained which was perfect for us as we were just in the area for a night and wanted to try a bit of cooking with the local produce.

We stayed in July and were very pleasantly surprised by the thought and detail of what was provided for in the rooms.It was everything that my family could have needed during our stay.Very comfortable, Kyra was very helpful with suggestions as to where to go and what to do and a great location! Very central to everything you need.Would highly recommend for families looking for something self contained and cost effective.Can't wait to bring the family back!

Like a home away from home. There's pretty much nothing more I could ask for. Unit 4 had a living area with a TV, sofa, dining table with 4 chairs, kitchenette with oven, stove, pots, pans, utensils, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper, dishwashing liquid, tea towels. Toilet has a decent shower, soap, shampoo. Bedroom comes with a queen bed and double decker bed (if you are travelling as four they will probably provide towels for 4).I don't advise fitting 4 adults here, but a family with 2 adults and 2 children would do fine. Or 2 quarreling adults who won't share a bed.Owners are warm and friendly, they even left reading material (and personal notes) on places of interest in, and around Augusta.If you manage to catch them for a chat they'll be able to share even more.

Nice spacious unit with everything needed for a good stay. The location is excellent,and it is nice and quiet. Only five units and the owners are great. Grab some great meat from the nearby butcher and have a BBQ.
