Frank's Pizza & Take Away Food

Rang up to order a pick up and was greeted by someone who couldn’t speak English, I was then passed to the owner and I asked a couple of questions about what they had on their menu when I was told “best to just come in” and was hung up on. Their pizzas must be good because their service is terrible

An excellent pizza. Hot, fresh and loaded with toppings. The big stores can't compete with this quality.

Very dear for what you get and no eftpos. Lovely older couple that run this shop, but not for us again.

Lucky their pizzas are tasty because everything else was ordinary. The girl on the phone had no idea what BYO was when I asked if we could bring alcohol to drink, then I asked if we could dine in and she wasn't sure. There are two tables which you can't eat at, they're for people waiting only. They don't deliver. The sizes are medium and large? No small? When I asked what size large was they said it feeds 8 and medium feeds 6...you mean it has 8/6 slices? How big is it compared to a dominos pizza?" "We don't know how big they are sorry." It took 30 mins to cook two pizzas on a normal week night (they said it would be 20) and they don't have any Eftpos or credit card facilities."

I went in to order a pizza and was refused service and told to leave because I had a dog with me. He is my guide dog so he is legally allowed to be inside the shop but the lady demanded that I leave. I will never return and certainly don't recommend.

One the very few non chain pizza places in Mount Isa. Found their prices a little steep. Ordered the House Special. Quality and taste of the food is good but not that much better than the other pizza chains to justify the price. Transactions are by cash only, they DO NOT accept credit cards or EFTPOS. If you are tired of Domino's and Pizza Hut; and are really into supporting local businesses then give them a try. Otherwise, as much as I want to, I am finding it a little difficult to recommend them over Pizza hut and Domino's.

A sense of originality and authenticy. Their food tasted like home cooked food. Which I like because it tasted 'real' or as if it was nostalgic dish my mum made. Fresh ingredients and a lovely local place which deserves a lot of recognition for being a long running home grown business.

Awesome feed, great flavour, and lovely service. Been a long time between eats here but worth the wait between. Way better than a chain store pizza.

Just tried to call and place an order - the first person just hung up in my ear. The second time I called when I asked to place a pick up order the person on the phone was pretty rude, saying “You tried to call lots of times we can’t hear you what do you want.” No mate, I called *twice* and could hear you both times. Maybe get your phone checked and don’t be an a$$hole to your customers. First experience of bad customer service in the Isa but I can see what people have been taking about...
