Southbank Place Apartments by Central Equity

Stayed here a year so far and I reckon it is the best apartment building in the area. Very spacious and intuitive layout in almost every floor plan unlike a lot of crammed Southbank apartments, good colour scheme and very clean pool for exercise. Auto blinds is a nice touch which gives it a futuristic feel. The upstairs lounge areas + cinema are also bookable, plus a free for all ping pong table.Location wise it’s set to be perfect, since the new Woolworths is opening up in less than a month just across the street. It’s also a short walk to the gardens, south Melbourne and the CBD.For long term residents there’s a friendly Facebook community where we share info / gripes / requests for assistance. The building management is also great with updates and email notifications for things happening.Last but not least the concierges are top dudes. Shoutout to Nigel and Nav for making everything easy and helping this place become a very livable and comfortable area.

Very frustrated with the body corp of 60 kavanagh street for taking no appropriate action against the foolish woman living on 6th floor for abusing the small dog (jack russell terrier I think) named Dexter by locking it out in balcony almost all day. Multiple people have reported her but the building authority has conveniently ignored it as responsibility of animal care. I am writing this post at 11:30 pm (13° celcius at night outside), and the poor dog is still locked out.

Thanks to the great effort of central equity for the construction of this stunning apartment,I eventually have a chance to living in such a beautiful new home. The building was constructed brilliantly with an open-view swimming pool, an integrated gym and a big party room that I can bring my friends to enjoy. However, the thing that most surprised me was the management team in the concierge. The concierge staff are extremely kind and helpful. They assisted me with my home moving so that I was able to successfully move into my new home with no trouble. Especially for Lisa, she helped me with many of the issues that I have incurred during the move and explained patiently to me how things work and how to avoid potential problems. I really enjoy living in this place and appreciate all the efforts that central equity and building management team have made.

I’m leasing a new apartment at Southbank place, my partner and I fell in love with this beautiful apartment with gorgeous view, we looked at many different apartment buildings but we didn’t impressed by any of them. Thank you central equity with this amazing place. The concierge team here are so helpful, friendly, warm and welcoming. Thank you MICM and special thanks to lovely Lisa project coordinator for all her kindness and going above and beyond service. She’s always approachable, so kind, caring and made us so welcome to our new place. I would highly recommend this place and appreciate all the friendly staff and their special attentions made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and most importantly happy with our choice.

My husband and I moved to this apartment in 2019, I love everything about this place, the pool, the gym and their facilities are 5 stars, all the staff and concierge are extremely amazing people, they are very friendly and helpful! I think they are the best concierge in every apartment that I used to live!!We only had to move because we had a bad experience with the property agent Lidia Zhang, she needs to change her attitude with the way she handles the client, the funniest of this was when my husband and she had a professional argument about the property, she thought that we were personally against her lol with sending us threatening email, and we finally moved from that place because of her and our new agent tried to contacted her for our reference, no surprise! she tells a lie that we haven’t pay our rent. Luckily, everything was recorded in the bank statement and our new agent didn’t believe her. We are now living in the new place peacefully for almost 2 years with a very helpful property agent.

From the minute I started to speak to a representative of Central Equity, they went well out of their way to ensure I was shown exactly what I was looking for. Once an apartment was found, the moving in was made very easy due to the flexibility of all the staff of Southbank Place Apartments. The Building Service Supervisor went to every extent possible to ensure we were not stressed during the move. I have found all the Concierge staff to be extremely helpful at all times. It is a delight to see all their cheerful faces each day. No job is too big or small and have not at all made us feel we are an imposition. The personal greeting of the Building Service Supervisor on the day of the move to ensure there was no problems, even up until she was due to leave to go home, also made us feel we were actually moving into a home, not just a place of residence. The facilities are second to none. I do not have the problem of hearing any neighbors, upstairs, downstairs or next door. I have found all other residents to be friendly by giving a hi in the elevator or while using the buildings facilities. The apartment layout is superb and the best I have lived in. The most spacious rooms I have seen within a complex. I highly recommend Southbank Place Apartments.

I have moved multiple times in Mel. Finally I find the place fantastic to live in. The concierge team is GREAT which is under the superstar Lisa. They always help us for ANY enquire and do their jobs beyond our expectations. And I have to mention one of the staff George in the concierge team as he used to be the one help us to move in the department. He is not only doing his job great, but also help me to handle some heavy items to speed up my movement and give more space to the other resident who wants to move in as well in the super busy weekend. He always show his warm welcome to everyone when he see them in the first place with a sweet smile. I am so proud of to live in this beautiful building and have this fabulous concierge team.

My sister and I have moved across from New Zealand so things have been pretty crazy and hectic, however, it has helped tremendous amounts to have such a warm, welcoming and helpful team to deal with. The concierge crew have been absolutely brilliant and have gone out of their way to let us know that they are here to help in every and any way possible. They have really taken a great deal of stress off of us, and Lisa has been truly fantastic.The building itself is very clean and comes with great amenities. Our apartment is very neat, bright and open, and it feels homey at the same time, which is a combination we didn’t find anywhere else. The lifts are very fast as well which is a huge bonus.From the get go of working with the wonderful MICM real estate team (Bidoura, Doris and Anne) who made this all possible, it’s been a great process. It’s an outstanding building with a great team and I can’t recommend it enough.

Moving into the apartment and booking amenities have been such a breeze with the excellent service that the concierge staff has provided! The complex is very well designed, loading docks make receiving furniture deliveries super convenient, and communal areas are so well maintained. Absolutely happy to be living here. Shout out to Lisa and all the concierge staff for making us feel so incredibly welcome from the get go even before moving in!
