South Village is the newer place to stay when working at Olympic Dam and while the rooms are nicer the village has a sense of being hurriedly put together, the lack of real paths means dragging luggage across the rocks occasionally causing damage.

camp is run by ex prison wardens or staff are trained by them, staff are unhelpful and argumentative, food is bland and of a low quality, amenities are poor just a small gym and two pool tables, all over a one star experience over a 3 month stay.
