Delicious steak chips and salad. Cooked to perfection and a choice to eat it in the restaurant, out in the rear garden, or on the street side, watching the sun slide lazily into the distant hills.

Had a really nice experience here on Easter Sunday. Lunch was delicious, everyone's meal was excellent , quick and friendly service. Dog friendly in the outdoor area, even providing water bowl for your dog. I had the chicken burger, it was delicious, my hubby had meatball pasta, excellent.

We ate here and had a lovely waitress who was helpful and friendly. The food was tasty and presented well. Limited menu but some good choices. I had chicken schnitzel which was crispy on outside and soft inside. My friend had the cheese burger which she enjoyed. It was a bit cold inside due to the high roof and no heating, but a lot of character and spacious area.

Very disppointing in the general dining room. Ambience was cold and stark. The butter coated fried chicken was very poor. 5 very large pieces of fried chicken. No vegetables except a bowl of mashed potato with gravey added - which they had forgotten to heat, it was cold!

We ordered the prawn and crab linguine ($29) along with the grilled chicken burger and chips ($26) for lunch. We waited almost an hour for the food and the restaurant was not super busy when we attended. When the food came out we were a bit disappointed as the chicken burger was quite small with just a handful of chips and the linguine only had 3 prawns in it. The food tasted fine but we had hoped the serving size would have been more consistent with what you expect for a pub lunch, especially for the price.

Had a few beers during their quiet time. Really nice beer brewed in Albany. Plenty of space good chairs. Has live music. Helpful staff. Good toilets. Has a view over the harbour buildings. Place is clean and tidy. Worth a visit to relax in middle of the afternoon.

Went here for drinks after my brother in-laws funeral. The service from staff was great so friendly which was welcoming after our sad and emotional day. Clean establishment, highly recommend.

Im a local. Went about a month ago, first time since reno. No fish n chips, no squid. Horrible thing called a fish schnitzel which had soft boiled eggs (which were done to perfection). Weird combo though. Otherwise.... nope. Menu was very limited and unappealing.Used to go for lunch regularly before recent reno. It used to be quite busy, but can see why it's empty to be honest.

Fabulous dinner from the new autumn menu, about which the wait staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The fried chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. Everything sounded great. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
