Great, except the time they persuaded me to cut layers which caused my hair to split 360 degrees and which prompted the comment at my next appointment (also there!) “oh no, you should never have had layers cut in your hair”. Oh, you wouldn’t say? My only bad experience amongst 5 very good ones though so still 5 stars.

Got my haircut today for the first time in my life, Ms. Sun was very kind and professional, shaped my hair exactly as I liked!

The lady did a good job, she was very pleasant and speaks Chinese which is a bonus if you're studying the language like I am. My only qualm is that the price was higher than what I saw online though it could be an old photo of prices.

The lovely ladies who work here did a wonderful job cutting my hair. They can run a little late so there may be a short wait even for people who made appointments.

The lady I spoke to on the phone was so rude and even hung up on me because I said I couldn't come in for a consult today. I've been calling around different salons to get quotes on a cut and colour. I understand it's difficult to give an exact figure over the phone, but the 3 other places I called were still able to give me an approximate figure.Not this lady. She didn't want to listen to anything I said, or any information about my hair, and just kept asking if I could come in today (not sometime this week when it was convenient for me. She wanted me to make the 2 hour round trip to UQ TODAY!). When I explained for the second time that I couldn't, I just wanted an appropriate quote, she hung up on me.I've been to this salon a few times before and had a good experience (which is why I'm giving 2 stars and not 1) but after that call I'm not sure if I ever want to go back.

Got my sloppy DIY sideshave fixed at a decent price.When the stylist asked about my hairdo, I was fully expecting a snide remark. I was surprised to hear her compliment it instead! It really made my day.

Sat staff is really good. She takes a little longer but she knows what she's doing. Generally if you go Uq this is the only one on campus and charge about 27 for men. Good for convenience but if you want fancy cuts go to the city

Staff was very impatient. When I started communicating in words how I would like my hair cut, explaining to her how I would like the sides, top, back etc., she started getting irritated, since she was expecting me to show her a single photo of a haircut and have it cut that way. Also, she really rushed the haircut, since they give mens haircuts only a 20min slot and then charged me 35$. Given the quality of the hairdresser and time spent actually cutting my hair, I find it to be way too overpriced. Anybody trying to get a decent haircut is better off going somewhere else.

Very bad experience. The lady hairdresser with a pair of black glasses and messy hair pulled my hair so hard! And her skill was so bad, I told her I want layers and she still cut all my hair into the same length! The worst experience in Brisbane ever.
