A much needed rest surrounded by nature and kindness. I can't thank my host Susannah and her family enough.As an ex services employee the balance of tranquillity, privacy and caring hosts was perfect.

Beautiful place to camp right on the Severn river. The young couple that open this property look after the camp sites by slashing often to give you a clean and tidy area to set up. We came after the floods and everything was green but unfortunately the water was still quite dirty from the flood run off up stream. It didn’t matter though, if peace and tranquillity is what your after then this is the place. The Pindari dam is just up the road and is at full capacity. There is no water or toilet facilities. This place is totally off grid.

Susannah and her partner are absolute legends, extremely welcoming and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and we will be back again, we loved the serenity and the fact there is only a few campsites and they are spread out you can go without seeing another camper or hearing anything bar nature and the flowing river. Which is exactly what we look for when searching for camping/escape destinations.Thanks again for having Dave and the rest of us!

Fernlee River Camping is such a magic place and a peaceful perfect getaway for anyone who needs to unwind and get a nature fix. Camping under a million stars and falling asleep to the sounds of frogs, owls and the river was just incredible. The river is so beautiful and accessible for fishing or kayaking. Susannah is the most wonderful host and truly you feel like you're in your own piece of private paradise.

Absolutely love this spot. Incredible location, and wonderful hosts. We caught some cod and seen plenty of platypus. Ashford town is only a short drive away and has a dump point which helps if staying a little longer. Very family friendly. Highly recommended!
