Obviously my username isn’t my real name but this school is horrible. I went there from kindergarten to year 6 and had a horrible education. In kindergarten kids would be punished when they couldn’t do things correctly such as reading, writing or talking. In year 1 they expected you to know how to write perfectly and know how to do the times tables while you haven’t even learned them yet. They start geometry in year 2 and most teachers do not supply equipment if the student doesn’t have the right equipment. In year 3 they have strange teaching methods for math and will ONLY focus on art, English and math. Year 4 I received a detention after being pressured to lie to a teacher BY A TEACHER. I continuously said that I didn’t do something but the teacher kept saying over and over again: I’ll ask one more time yes or no? And expected me to say yes although I repeatedly said no. Year 5 I was physiologically abused by a teacher who make me cry multiple times infront of the class and gave ALL students in the class a time limit on their work but I was expected to complete a whole page in 1 minute with NO HELP. They treat all students that are unable to write fast or use correct grammar as idiots. And when my parents talked to the teacher in a Keating she said that I couldn’t do basic math although she gave me harder word then the rest of the class. Why? Because I wrote slower. Year 6 wasn’t great either since everyone that year hated each other and were at each other’s throats constantly. In year 6 I also found out 2 things: The teacher would talk bad about me while I wasn’t in class and started teaching kindergarten. That’s disgusting. They don’t care about students well being and mostly care about their appearance to the public. Constantly asked us to stand up straight in public and not to talk to any adults while on school trips. I’ve even seen a teacher hit a student before which is not only ILLEGAL but disgusting. The principal was quite a nice lady but she never got involved with the students.My suggestion: DO NOT take your kids here! I know for a fact I’m never bringing my future kids near that school.
