Great accommodation for families. room for all the kids!!If your not very good at camping but still like the experience of being outdoors this is perfect.clean and tidy bathroom, good shower.clean and tidy kitchenette.great spacious deck and private fire pit, looking out into the bush.lots of Mumma possums with there babies and birds that will eat straight from your hands!close to town and beach and river.Everything you need. we loved our stay.Mick was very informative and helpful, Thank you.

We absolutely love this place. My son calls it the birds holiday. We have been many times and will continue to visit. Beautiful quiet location but still close to town. Love having the birds and possums visit too.

Sharing my experience. Not judging or passing any conclusions.We booked for 4 nights. 5 people. 2 adults, 3 kids (12 yrs, 12 yrs and 6yrs). The cabin has one fire pit outside and indoor woodfire heater. The day we checked in, the fire pit outside had two logs next to the pit, which we used to light the fire. There were no wood for the indoor woodfire heater, and I HAVE NO IDEA that the wood is for sale at the reception. I did not bother to use indoor woodfire anyway. Next day was a bit of cold day. My kids (12 yrs old) got excited (and adventurous) to light both outside fire pit and indoor woodfire. They went out into the woods to collect wood and light the fire both inside and outside. Along with some little sticks, dry leaves, they also brought some logs which are cut properly. I asked them where they found the logs. Boys said, next to reception cabin, a pile of wood was found, and they brought from there. I did not pay much attention, and it was repeated again on the same day.In the evening between 7pm – 8pm, a man walked outside my cabin door, look straight into the mesh door (no knock, no calling), and started giving threats to my kids (12 yrs old). “If you steal my logs one more time, I gonna throw you out of the cabins…bla bla bla”. His allegation was my kids stole the logs from his property. He probably thought I was saving money by NOT buying the wood. I went out and requested him (it took a while for me to realise that he is the manager) to slow down and tell me who he is and why he is upset. No explanation. I offered to pay for the wood and extra as well. Anyway, the whole incident upset not only boys, but our entire holiday as well for the rest of the stay. We were a bit scared as well thinking what is next. Not justifying what my kids did, the behavior of the manager was rude, scary and threatening.

Tranquil location, friendly staff, rustic log cabin with comforts of home. Private BBQ and fire pit just minutes away from town centre in beautiful Lakes Entrance. Will definitely return, happy to recommend!

We had a great time here with the kids; beautiful setting in bush land, unique vantage point being so close to Lakes Entrance. Loved the amount of space and homely feel. Amazing experience with the king parrots - a bag of bird seed provided daily for the kids to put out for the birds and they were so use to people, they landed on our hands and shoulders. Very cool! Caretaker was fantastic; friendly and accommodating. Great to have access to a fire pit. The only thing I'd say that let it down was that the cabin needed a bit of an update but otherwise, had a nice, quiet, relaxed stay and we will be back!

Good experiences on the log cabin. The room setup was authentic log cabin styles. Be mindful you can't cook Asian style cooking inside unless you ready to paid extra for cleaning. Outside BBQ place will do the jobs if you want to have some prawn or crab, fish will be difficult. Fire place inside and outside was great! Kids was play with marshmallow BBQ but need to collect some woods before having fun or get it over the office.The bed was found with bedbug on the day we left. So only minus bite on kids so be careful with that. The rest was just another great experiences.

The location is excellent, close to the village but feels like in the middle of the woods. The cabins are super cute and cozy and very well equipped (including fireplace). Mitch was super helpful and welcoming, making our experience even better. Have gone twice already and planning to go back!

6 weeks after receiving our booking confirmation they advised due to a system error they had apparently booked our stay while fully booked. Given the time frame I'd hedge my bets they received a request for a longer booking than ours, requested we cancel with no resolution or alternative booking date suggested. Absolutely appalling customer service. Book at your own risk I suppose.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The setting of the cabins were quiet away from the main hussle of town. Excellent kitchen facilities.

Great spot, cabins are rustic but spotless and very comfortable. Grab a bucket of wood, build a fire and enjoy this special place. The on site manager Mitch will sort you out with top recommendations on local spots to visit.
