Gluten Free Heaven
Paid $5 for what could only be described as a cocktail sized sausage roll. Paid $10 for 1 waffle which tasted like a store bought microwaved waffle with whipped cream out of a can and 1 strawberry. Coffee was good, but the service was average.

I came with my 2 year old to visit after seeing their calls for help/business on Facebook. I was super excited for the pies, but by the time I got there, they had sold out. That was disappointing but not their fault! We instead purchased pancakes, chicken nuggets (sold replaced with TFC popcorn chicken), caramel milkshake and tropical cheesecake slice.The cheesecake was delicious, and the milk shake was an old school one which was a hit for both my son and myself. We unfortunately waited 35 minutes for food, and they weren’t what I would consider overly busy. 4 other tables had customers dining in. It can be tricky to keep a hungry toddler happy for so long, but once it came out, we both dug in. The pancakes were much smaller than I anticipated, but they tasted nice. I was still quite hungry after, so had some of my sons food. The chips were lovely, and the chicken very tender, however the crumb was on the burned side and a little too dark for my liking.Overall, the food is not too bad. I frequently visit Marie Anita’s down the road and am used to their pancakes which while more expensive, leave me full!

Absolutely incredible selection of sweets, savoury and a delicious menu for any GF, DF, vegetarian or vegan. Can’t speak highly enough of the pies or cupcakes, our favourite. The coffee is one of the best prices and the owners are beyond knowledge and I felt like family visiting. Customer for life. If you’re a local, put it in your map. If you’re visiting, well worth a stop!

We popped in here for brekkie and did not enjoy our meals whatsoever. We ordered the pancakes and eggs Benedict. The pancakes were okay but it was a tiny portion and came with way too much syrup. For the eggs Benedict, the bacon had barely been cooked, the eggs were well underdone (more runny white than solid white) and the hash browns were undercooked. A very unpleasant brekkie but we didn't try any of their pastries, which I'm sure are good.To cap it off, a couple of us got burnt, bitter coffees. Won't be going back.

So disappointed with how things have changed.As a coeliac I have been missing out on good quality bakery items for many years and was thrilled to discover Gluten Free 4 U. I have now been to a few different ones and have frequently this store many time, however in the past few months the quality at this store has gone massively down hill. The freezer used to be stocked with specially made items, including breads, pastries, savouries, scrolls etc which were all excellent.Today when I went the only items were other pre-frozen brands with nothing from GF4U. The fresh products were severely lacking with only a handful of pies and a few standard sweet items such as a couple of tarts, friands and scones. No scrolls, danishes, fresh fruit tarts, vanilla slices (all items I have been able to get before). Previously I have been spoiled for choice and often walk away having spent close to $70 on fresh and frozen items but today I bought one chicken pie (over $10) which when I got home to eat was actually inedible, oily, with separated sauce just a few chunks of chicken.I don’t often write reviews but I was so wholeheartedly disappointed and unless things turn around for the better I won’t be returning. I will make the drive to Mt Gravatt instead.

We shopped at the Gold Coast bakery. We couldn’t eat the scrolls ! They weren’t even cooked properly. We went back and asked then to heat them up which didn’t help. The vanilla slice wasn’t much better. The pastry was almost raw and the filling had the consistency of cream so it went everywhere when you bite into it. The croissant was passable. The only thing that was ok was strawberry tart. We wasted $30. I wouldn’t go there again.

Walked into the store at 1pm and said hello. Staff members looked like deer in headlights and said nothing back. Asked about their hot food selection and was told everything had sold out with a grin on their faces as if they were proud of that. If a food business runs out of food at lunchtime then there's something seriously wrong with your business management practises and I can guarantee the business won't last long term.

Went there for a birthday cake last month. Staff were lovely and the sponge cake was one of the most delicious ones I'd ever had. The strawberries were fresh and the cake looked beautiful.Please be aware that the website thats linked to this store shows the wrong address at the Gold Coast and they won't get the order. I was very lucky that I noticed this before ordering online.
