Just passing by from Denham to Monkey Mia, We saw this beautiful lake from the distance. So on our way back, We took some photos of this stunning clear water Little Lagoon. Its good for a family this place. There is a barbeque and toilet facilities this area. Good for little kids to swim because of the shallowness of the water. If you're on a 4 wheel car, you can drive a around.

Nice little area to relax. The water was shallow and very cold so we didn't wade out for a swim but we did see a very beautiful Floating Bell/Australian Spotted/White Spotted jellyfish!

Put this on the list of places to go. Drive on the beach surrounding the lagoon. Take a picinic sit on the beach or in one of the shade houses and soak in the scenery, swim or throw line in. Stunning.

Nice lagoon with very few people. Easily accessible within a 5min drive from Denham. Possible to drive your 4wd around it

So peaceful and beautiful! Worth going there for a walk or picnic. If it's hot enough, I reckon you could probably swim there!

According to the touristic brochure you can do lots of activities here (like swimning and snorkelling) which I haven't tried. I merely made a stop at the Little Lagoon because of it's environmental value withing the Francois Peron National Park. In comparison to the Big Lagoon, this Little one is still accessible by 2WD. There are beautiful gastropod shell present on the beach and water actually felt quite pleasantly warm when I dipped my hands in it to take a close up look at the shells. It has the right size for a walk around it. Ideal spot to stop for a picknick as well.

For relaxing is fine. Some people walked around the Lagoon. There is a coffee truck that was really nice to enjoy a cup of coffee there. The water is not so high so you must walk a little bit inside the water and it was really cold
