Nicita Estate

Spent a lovely weekend at the beautiful Nicita Estate. Jen and Vince Nicita shared their beautiful luxurious Tuscan style home perched up high with glorious 360 degree views of the Hunter Valley. Spent a day at “Our Italian Kitchen by Jen Nicita” learning various Italian dishes like arancini balls, orecchiette with a slow cooked beef ragu, delicious hazelnut cake and biscotti just to name a few. It was like we spent the weekend in Tuscany, Italy. Looking forward to returning soon.

Beautiful afternoon of indulging in authentic Italian food with fine wine and a great group of friends. We will be back to not just indulge but to learn some culinary skills from Jen. She was completely relaxed despite over a dozen of us showing up for a long lunch. I am sure anybody hoping to enhance their skills through a class would appreciate Jen's calmness and an obvious love for what she is doing. All of this complemented by a simply outstanding setting perched on top of a hill. Book it in.

A very welcoming and relaxing stay. The cooking class was most enjoyable and catered well to our small group of friends. I'm inspired to make my own pasta. Would definitely do again.

Got this experience as a Christmas gift and wow I was a not expecting it to be this good and so happy to do it, it was so much fun.Making pasta and then eating it was the best way to spend a day out.The bread roll that was made was to die for, so good.If you are looking for an awesome experience then book this with Jen, you will not be disappointed.Thanks so much for an great day Jen.

Very nice place to have your holiday meal,As a family or a group. It is in the middle of Vineyards, niceview, and nice and very kind owner. You can make your own Pasta from for your meal ...They teach how to make Pasta and other Italian food recipes...

Stunning location and such an easy drive up from Sydney. Jen and Vince are wonderful hosts, and did I mention the fabulous food?!? Really, it's just a fantastic place to be. We will be back!

Life doesn't get any better than this .... about 20 of us spent 5 hours having lunch amidst the vines on the beautiful Nicita Estate in the Hunter Valley. Jen and Vince are the perfect hosts and Jen's food hit just the right spot for a sunny spring day ... spring lamb and lightly cooked salmon to mention just a couple of wonderful dishes served (don't get me started on dessert !) Jen runs a 'small group cooking school' or you can do as we did and book in as a group for a lazy luncheon .... I cant wait to go back .... the Nicita Estate 'experience' is a wonderful addition to an increasingly sophisticated array of offerings in the Hunter Valley.

Just returned from a fabulous Long Lunch at the Nicita Estate. The multi-course Italian lunch was held on the grounds of a Tuscan style villa and surrounded by vineyards - we felt that we had been transported back to Italy! The views from the property were glorious and expansive, with the nearby Brokenback Range adding another stunning element to the vista. Hosts Jen and Vince could not be faulted - nothing was too much trouble for them. All the food was delicious and authentically Italian. I look forward to returning to the Nicita Estate with some friends to attend the Cooking School run by Jen. Thank you Jen and Vince for a wonderful experience!
